I bought two of these brand new on a well known auction site for 60 quid, 13 postage and 30 to fit them takes us to a grand total of £103 for two 235 40 18. A bargain tyre at that price but how do they compare to the usual premium brands I buy?
The reason I bought these cheap tyres is that im paying for a wedding this year, I thought id get a cheap set to do me until after then.
Day one I was so impressed by how quiet the tyres were, these are super quiet, I have never had a quieter tyre!
Dry performance is every bit as good as the premiums they replaced. Had to wait a few days for rain (surprising in Scotland).
In the rain i booted it off my favourite round about and again very surprised by the grip!
I bought these because I was on a budget but I will be buying a set again when these wear out. Not sure how long they will last, only had them on a month so we will see but overall a very very good tyre at least for 235 40 18 anyway.

I have a played with Audi 1.9 TDI Quattro Avant pushing just over 200bhp. I have always had cars that were not exactly standard and have stuck with the big named brands as I don't hang about and want my cars to go where I point them and stop when I want them to. Now being in my sixties and retired money has become a big factor. So after reading a few reviews I decided to take the plunge and go for these. £250 all in including fitting for five as opposed to £100+ a corner for the Continentals I was running, no contest on price.

Now we have all seen the "Compare the Chinese tyres to our performance tests" The Chinese always come out as rubbish. Not so! I did my own tests. The first was economy. I went to have these fitted by a chap in the Midlands as nowhere stocked them nearer. 60 miles there on Continentals 45 mpg. The return journey I got 49 mpg and that was with the five Conti's in the back. Sold those on ebay for £200 with around 4mm left, I never take my tyres much lower than that before I get rid.

Dry handling. Very good, not quite as sharp as the Conti's for quick changes in direction but close enough, I feel confident on country roads and have not had any handling issues. Brakes. As good as the Conti.s.

Wet handling. The Conti's were good, or so I thought. These hold on better and as to stopping distance. I took the car out at the first opportunity to give it a go. Dumped the pedal on the floor at 40 mph on a clear road, I should have changed to these sooner! They are clearly better.

Wear. At slightly over 5000 I have used 1.2 (Front) 1 millimetre (Rear) so these are on target to beat the Conti's

Winter driving. Can't make a comment on this as I always run winter mud+snow tyres on 16" rims as I do a lot muddy tracks and fields.

Overall. Excellent tyre and will be buying these again.

Bought these tyres as a fix for the winter on my spare set of wheels wasn't bothered about performance as I had no intention of pushing them that said they are ok but lack a little bit of feel on the turn in and are not as sharp as the Pirelli that came off but they are very quiet and comfortable and seem to be wearing ok

They are ok on grass and mud no issues as far as this type of width can be

Having run my car exclusively for the last 3 years on Goodyear Excellence I decided to look around for an alternative? Having looked at products from the leading manufacturers I came across a Finnish tyre test in which the Landsail ls588 uhp had figured well so had a look the tyres were B rated for wet grip, C rated for fuel and 68db for noise. Having always steered clear of cheap rubber I was sceptical but the tyre test results looked good so I decided to take the plunge and buy a pair to replace the rears. I paid £43 each from an on-line seller then £12 valve, balance, disposal etc at my local tyre fitters so £55 all in and a saving of £40 on the Goodyears, having only done 1000 miles on them I can honestly say that there is no noticable difference in dry or wet grip or noise compared to the Goodyears, on the wear its early days but at the price I would'nt mind changing them a few thousand miles sooner! Its nice to see a "budget" brand making a decent tyre so well done.

Used it on Kia Rondo 2.0L EXS, well balanced on dry and wet grip. Quite a comfort yet provide quite amount of grip tire while travelling on any road surface. First try on China made tire, quite satisfied with the built quality and value provided by this tire. It did back by 5 years unlimited mileage limited warranty in Malaysia, this is one of the reason why I will try on this rubber. Best bang of dollar for this, definitely will buy it again.

I bought these tyres for 240euros.I am very happy because i think that it is best value for money.I do not know for how many kilimeters will be in good condition.Low noise tyres and very comfort set.

fantasic tyre for the money, previously had rainsport 3's which would be a very hard tyre to live you to, comes fairly close but i would choose rainsports over them but at 140 a tyre for the rainsports and less then 60 for the ls5888 it's really not a 80 euro diffrence had it been 15, 20 euro i might spend it but while landsail are producing such fantastic tyres for that value it seems ill be sticking to them for the upcoming years. fantasic tyre if your considering buying them go for it ! you wont regret it. dont buy into reviews against chinese's tyres not all tyres can be thrown into the same bracket vredestein were once considered a very bad tyre now theyre great everyone starts somewhere and im sure soon to come landsail will be up theyre at the top ! also had the ls388 on a toyota celica 190bhp vvtli previsiouly would also buy again only they wernt available in the size i required but im not let down either

Brought these instead of usual Goodyear's and glad I did. Well done Landsail these tyres show the big boys how to do it, they're quiet, smooth they look good and all at a very reasonable price.
Please don't judge these tyres as being a budget tyre because in my opinion they outclass the leàders by a country mile.
Would definitely buy again.

Replace OME Dunlop SP Sport Maxx TT that was very good and wand a brand, but after hear the price i decide to go on chines. Push to put this by my friend how sell them, and make special order for me to have them before i decide on what i put on the car, but after reviews i see on internet i go for them and have no regrets. Even a little less noise from those but less grip on wet from Dunlop, and little noice when cornering but fot the price i paid, half and less for brands, very good tyre. I gess will last longer, will see.

I had Bridgestone tyres on my car I replaced them with
Lands ail tyres the guy in the tyre shop advised me
Not fit them how wrong was he the grip in the wet
Brilliant the road noise was less and my mpg shot up
By 5 to 8 mph .the only negative is a bit less feedback
In the steering brilliant tyres

An excellent tyre with good road grip and is long lasting too. Covered 30k on my front tyres in my front wheel drive Vauxhall insignia before change and rear tyres barely half way after 30k. Ticks all boxes for me and is cheap too
