Michelin PS3s are my go-to tyres, and seemingly the favoured tyres of much of the motoring community as a whole. And for good reason.

Many other often cheaper tyres may have good grip in the dry, in the wet or good wear and durability but in my opinion no other tyre has all three.

PS3s have absolutely flawless levels of grip in both wet and dry and in terms of wear, last the longest of any tyre I have ever tried. I have a 360bhp car and Continental or Pirelli offerings barely see 10,000 miles from a stint on the front axle. PS3s on the other hand will happily see getting on for 15,000 miles.

Give them a try, it is absolutely worth it. The extra investment may seem difficult to stomach at purchase time, but consider that the extra miles endurance soon make this an economical choice!

Given 83% while driving a Renault 172 cup (195/45 R16) on mostly country roads for 4,000 spirited miles
Excellent Tyre wet and dry.

Compliments the cars go-kart handling nicely.

Can't comment on how they would perform in a track environment, but they cope well fast road.

Almost unnatural wet grip and very good in the dry. They just hold and hold and fill you with plenty of confidence. Rolling resistance is quite high so fuel economy isn't great but that's not why you buy this car.

Being very soft, they don't last. I've done around 5000 miles on them and they're about halfway worn at the front; still looking pretty new on the back however.

Side walls were surprisingly soft which, considering the grip is good, isn't a bad thing for your back at all.

Al round a very good tyre for a sports car.

Given 70% while driving a Citroën DS5 2.0 Hdi (235/45 R18) on a combination of roads for 13,500 average miles
Wear is quite severe, have 13500 miles on the clock and 4mm left on front and 3mm on rear. All four tyres are wearing fairly evenly across width.

Disappointed that rear tyres wear the same as front. I am happy wheels are properly aligned and I would consider myself a careful driver travelling on a good mix of roads and conditions.

Definitely not purchase again. The wear was similar on my previous DS4 !

I placed the score after 3 years on my car and 19300km with them.
On the 1st year great tyre. From the 2nd year they started to slip and on the 3nd year they are awful and slip when i start and stop the car with slip road. Put on primacy 3 to test if they are greater. If not i think it would be the last chance for Michelin.
Not recommend them for being on car after the 2nd year.

The PS3 were carefully selected replacing a long standing trust with Uniroyal Rainsport 2's, After numerous sets of the Uniroyal RS2, in the Rain and braking in the wet is where they shined but I was left wanting more as a driver, but a great safe tyre with plenty of feel. The Michelin's are better on number of points .. the PS3's have a greater sidewall stiffness and the compound is much better wearing. This means better stability at speed and the precision of the steering inputs better, allowing you to balance the car faster into corners or going in flatter and back on the accelerator. I had the PS3 at the front Axled (FWD Car) and left the Uniroyal at the rear. This has served me fine but will write my next review with a new full set of Uniroyal Rainsport 3's ! ... This tyre is probably the best I have overall so far from a drivers perspective.

I've had no problem with the performance of these tyres but this is because the rubber is soft which unfortunately means they don't last long. I had these on my peugeot and they went illegal at approx 14,000 miles, and they didn't drive in any tough conditions or at particularly high speed. Considering your'll be paying approx £600 for a full set I'd steer clear unless you don't do much miles and your all about performance.
