fantastic tyre. huge amounts of grip on wet, dry or the race track. can't compain about anything like noise or ride quality because its irrelevant when they do what they are meant to so well

I've had these tyres for a year now. Initially was raving over them - superb grip, seemed like the car was glued to the road - a significant improvement in control and responsiveness over the stock Pirellis.

But just a year and 10k miles on the tyres are almost down to the limit. That's shocking wear on a tyre this expensive. The car hasn't been driven to excessive speeds or offroad at all. Will have to fork out for a new set, and won't be going for these again

It's great type I never try, it's much better than my last RE002 and F1A2, especially on Dry road...

it fits on my DTE chip+Pedal Box + Belstein B8 + OZ wheel...... it's perfect match !

The grip on these tires are unreal, it feels like driving on glue as it stuck to the road at all times. I run a tuned 335i with 400bhp, so far the tyres has been on for 16 months average 24k miles and i still have 3-4mm in the rear whereas my old tires would only last 20k.

There is a big increase in tyre roar/road noise as others call it, this is because there is much more rubber gripping to the road than other reviewers old tires. Wet grip is not as good as some multipurpose tyres. Don't use it in the winter

Other Jag user notes tyres noise levels, - I have found this statement to be true, in comparison to stock Pirelli's these are much noisier - they are on a par with my winter Nokians. That said these tyres have impressed me so far, perhaps this is a little too soon to review as I am only a few hundred miles on, however I am already extremely impressed. I immediately noticed a significant improvement over the stock pzero rosso's . Dry grip is fantastic, it's hard to quantify but I would go as high as 25-30% better IMO. Wet grip is also much improved and gives me great confidence even in my heavy s-type. Stopping power is great - having nearly missed a turning on a 60 limit, I performed an emergency stop with little fuss or drama , whilst fully expecting to skid I pulled up short and had to coast up to the junction to turn. I hope there longevity\wear is as impressive as my initial impression of them .

I have had Bridgestone re050a, Michelin PS3, Advan Neova AD08 and Kumho KU36. The Michelin PSS has satisfied my need with awesome dry traction! Handling is very good, braking is also very good combined with my Stoptech Big Brake Kit.

The last Bridgestone RE050A tyres were replaced with 2mm of thread depth left after being driven for 20,000km including 10 x 30 minutes race track runs and 4 track days.

I had my car wheel aligned by a proper knowledgeable workshop (not just any typical tyre shop) prior to fitting these PSS and confident that they will last more than 40,000km given that I have a separate set for track use.

Many people complain they don't last long, BUT I wonder if they ever had the car wheel aligned correctly and even regularly check the tyre pressure and conditions... ??

I would not bother using max summer performance tyres on snow and make any comment on snow, it is just plain wrong. It is like wearing formal shoes for mountain climbing!!

Fantastic tyre, absolutely nothing fazes it in the dry. My car only has approx 218 hp and 180 lb/ft, but you can plant the throttle on the apex with no dramas whatsoever.

One thing I would say for those purchasing the 205/45/17 or smaller sizes. The sidewalls are mega stiff and does compromise comfort. I have added coilovers, stiffer arb, poly bushes etc so have added stiffness in the car.

You can get thrown off line on uk bumpy country roads due to less sidewall compliance. I am reverting back to michelin PE2 for this reason. This tyre is ideal if your car weighs over 1300 kg IMO.

Wet weather grip is nothing short of amazing as with most sport michelin tyres. Highly recommended, but make sure you are choosing the right tyre for your car. If you are used to run flats and have stock suspension, this will work well and give miles more grip.

Excellent tyre! very grippy on dry and wet! Good steering response, due to stiff sidewalls! wear is very even, and does take some time, ive driven 14000KM
with them, and the fronts of the FWD 3.0 diesel are barely at 50%. Only deception, rim protection is no where as serious as Vredestein ultrac sessanta's!!
Overall excellent tyre for any enthousiast looking for serious performance in a daily tyre, just beware of curbs!

These tyres replaced my Bridgestone ER33s.

While it has really good grip in the dry and wet.

i think it suffer tremendously in terms of noise and comfort.

these tyres were noisy and also it wears out really quickly. Had it for more than 10k miles, its about half way point already. the best part is i dont even drive hard!!

Good tyre, but not sure if its worth the price with its wear and noise.

I had sport contact 5 on my m3 when I bought it, and I have had them on my previous 330ci and did rate them, so replaced them with BMW recommended super sports. A much better tyre, my previous favorite was Goodyear eagle f1 assy 2 and these are even better than them. Far better grip on wet and dry. I cannot really comment on the wear as I have driven quite aggressively and have only covered 5k miles.

These are very good tyres but not for a Jag!
I replaced the Bridgestones S001 which were fantastic (but out of stock..) and decided to go for the "best"... and more expensive Michelin SS
Though the grip is great, the tyres are REALLY NOISY!
Trust me, it's the first time that I hear road/tyre sound inside the car! It's very annoying!!!
The car had a great grip and handling anyway, so the extra grip is for track days only and not worth the trade off in comfort!
I wish I could have my Bridgestones back! They had a perfect balance between grip and comfort...
