So that is what the noise was. 32,000 miles in my rear wheel Omega and now these tyres need changing. Paid too much for them in the first place. Toyo or Yokohama only ?10 more per corner.
Here is how it went;
0 to 20,000 miles only took 3 months in Feb to May. Motorway & dual carriageways wet and dry. Excellent response, even on wet roundabouts in this rear wheel.
20,000 to 30,000 miles in Jun & Jul not so good in wet roads. Wheelspinning this TD car accelerating was not logical, it never wheelspins. Dry roads not too bad.
Now over 30,000 miles, these tyres are shot. Take care in all corners, dry and straight you still get grip. Wears on outside edges first, looks over worn before their time.
Time to get shot of these. May try something closer to premium rather than this budget mid range. Garage was surprised I got over 32k out of the Sunny's in 6 months.
