I would like to knw the bs I end up seein an the outcome in the end is so diff from what these ok write, lmao these tires are perfectly fine they actually steer a Lil easier than the nexen n 3000 I jus had due to 8 years of wear, so these triangle tr968 are jus fine NOT NOISY AT ALLi drive a 91 Honda Crx w a dohc VTEC and jus had them put on today for the $$$ purchase them all these shit stories about them being loud and noisy, mayb get ur wheel bearings fixed cus they are not a noisy or hard to steer tire lmao stypid ppl anyways

I had Triangle TR968s fitted to the rear of my 2008 Tdci Mondeo. I took it for a 5 mile spin, immediately noticed very odd handling from the rear, skittish and unpredictable, and went straight back to the tyre dealer to check if the wheel nuts were done up. He said that tyres need to bed in, but having read other reviews now, the tyres are not for bed but for the bin! August 2014

Do not buy these tyres, utter crap on a 2010 mk4 mondeo, the noise is unbelievable, ,its like you a driving on rumble strips, money was short at the time of purchase so had no choice. Worse tyre i have ever had, Would of been better of with part worns.

These were fitted to the car when I bought it as the previous ones were on the limit and the dealer said he would fit two new ones. I thought I was getting a good deal until I drove on them. The car sounded completely different and sounded like I was driving on corrugated roofing. A terrible noise. The steering had less feel and when it rained a few days after getting the car that was it for me. The car understeered quite considerably even at low/average speeds on rural roads I was on; you didn't have to be pushing it to realise these tyres are appalling cheap, nasty rubbish. There is no way I would trust these tyres on the motorway. After 1 week and about 110 miles I got them replaced with some Goodyear Eagles and now it feels like the car I test drove. Read the reviews on here and I can understand why people call them 'death-traps'.

I just recently bought the car with a set of them (225/40R18) and the all season tires/ rims for both, and the TR968 tires are sketchy at best, even on dry pavement I feel as if I need to have some serious skills to be able to handle them. After reading many of these reviews, I have to agree I feel much the same. Handling curves are challenging and feel as if the car will slide at any moment, breaks in the road/pavement while turning to any degree is just scary. The noise feedback does give the impression something is mechanically wrong with the car. I am glad that I wasn't just imagining these things. These tires suck.

Two simple words come to mind when I hear the words triangle tires. STAY AWAY!!! I drove on them for two years because I didnt have any money to put another brand. If you enjoy a verrrrryy noisy ride with the feeling that your tires are going to fly off of your rims, Then these are the rims for you. once again STAY AWAY!!!

Not familiar with Talon Triangles but needed tires and tire shop recommended and cost under $ 100 each sold us. The tires have performed admirably in wet and dry conditions on a hard driven GTS. Not sure why these guys are complaining about wet grip because they are fine in driving rain. Any summer tire will hydroplane in a deep puddle. They are noisier than the Michelins they replaced but the aggressive tread pattern looks and grips well. Wear has been exceptional for a summer tire and they look like 80% after 20,000Km. Would buy these again and our tire shop says he receives nothing but positive feedback from other owners. He would drop them if there were concerns because his reputation is at stake.

I just bought a 530d 06 bmw that had 4 of these on. I always buy continental or Michelin based on the fact that this is the only thing that keeps me on the road.
The cabin noise alone is intolerable with a constant done suggesting that there is a serious mechanical issue with the car. ....
I've only coveted 250 miles this weekend since I bought it but that's enough for me to know that these need to be recycled as soon as I can get to the tire shop
Even in the dry the torque from the diesel lights up the traction control light, and the wet..... It's almost undrivable
Whilst I accept a 530 will challenge most tires these are simply appalling and will be off the car within the week.
These may be cheap, but please don't buy them it is such a false economy, don't risk your life by fitting this garbage

Lots of rubbish being written about these tyres. They are a very cheap tyre to buy and perfect for high mileage motorists like me. Unless you are an f1 driver you won't notice any difference in grip to any other cheap tyre and I have found they don't slip in the wet either. If yoy want to drive a car on its limits on a racetrack then obviously buy another brand. The Triangles seem to last forever and be impervious to punctures, kerbing etc, and only downside is that they are much noisier than the MaystornsI had before. Having said that I had Conti Eco's on this car originally and they were noisy too as they got worn.

BAD TIRES !!!! I got the tires on a set of rims i bought and DON'T DRIVE WHEN IT IS WET OR RAINING !!!! I was driving abut 55 to 60 kph when it was raining ( no hard ) the light changed to yellow hit the brakes and the car swerved hard right ( and the steering wheal was straight ) I tried to get the car straight and then the car swerved hard left lucky I did not hit the curb to the right of me. Also in the rain the tires will spin through 3rd gear and my car only has 130hp. In the dry it is not to bad but a lot of noise from the tires at any speed. The tires squeal when you drive in to a corner doing 25 to 30kph

Worst tyre I have ever driven on, 45K motorway mile and they are only 50% worn. Bought the car from a dealer fitted new and suspected I would get 10/15 K and change them. The constant fear of the the car letting go has ensured I retain a clear license as going over 60 mph (wet or dry) is a nail biting experience. If you are confident that a no point you will need to change direction i.e. use the steering wheel or stop these tyres are an excellent buy.

Bought a used one of these for my bmw to replace an overly warn Falken. I wish I would have kept the warn falken. This tire having three times more tread has absolute garbage grip, not to mention the horrific noise. My BMW going down the rode now sounds like it's fitted with 39" mud terrains.. I can't believe anyone would buy/use these. Going to replace ASAP.
