Very good winter tyre. Almost perfect traction on snow or ice. Very low noise level. One minus of the tyre is low mileage.

Driving on mostly motorways for 8000 easy going miles
Fitted to rear only so cant comment on many of the sections. Can only comment on snow and ice due to recent snow in the UK recently and fitted to a Mondeo hatchback. They do grip well albeit slide a little but given the very few sipes and not on the driving wheels they seem pretty good. In terms of dry and wrt grip again cant really comment but don't feel as squishy as my Goodyear vector 4 seasons G2 on the rear during the summer (my review is on there but they were on the driving wheels but the rears did squirm at sweeping bends on hot days). SO overall if you can get a good price Id say they are worth it but don't expect it to handle exactly like a summer tyre but that's your compromise to have grip all year round. In terms of wear I haven't checked the exact depth but they are on the rear so will last ages anyway and its a Michelin so it will last a good while. Comfort wise again on the rear only so cant really comment.

Writing about the Avon ZV7 given 100% (225-45-17-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 18000 average miles
Fitted a new set of these tyres to my Mondeo 2.5 v6 in early 2017 and have done about 18,000 miles since. Wear - They are just about due for changing on the front but I can't complain at all about the wear as I tend to be a little more heavy footed. Back ones have around 1/2 left.
Handling - Amazing, the turn in is so direct and they grip all day long. In the wet they are fantastic, never had wheel spin or lack of grip even with the high power through the front wheels.
Noise - Well as far as i can say they're pretty much silent, I never hear any tyre roar.
Value for money - Spot on, can't complain when I paid £70 a corner at the time.
All weather - ironically i managed to get up a slope to my house in light snow no problem at all! I'm not for one minute saying they're winter tyres but they got me a small incline from flat standstill!
In the wet, I've read these tyres aren't quite up to the mark but in reality (certainly on my car) they are fantastic and you even feel the confidence through the wheel that they will grip exceptionally through sharp turns and when braking.
Performance off the line - I had some poor landsails on before and the difference was astonishing when I changed, the car felt so much more agile through bends and responsive. Excellent.

Overall I would 100% recommend these tyres and having experienced 'premium' tyres such as Continental or Pirelli, would say the price upgrade is not worth considering as they perform just as well in all conditions.

Writing about the Sava PERFECTA given 50% (185-65-14-T)
Driving on a combination of roads for 19700 easy going miles
Northeast Greece, my car Mondeo II 1.6 BFP (1999). 4 pieces bought and fitted Sep 2015 (manufactured Apr 2015 , "1518") , for 200€. Descent in dry general with quite lacking on sleepery asphalt while turning or accelareting from 0. Just bad in wet, with slightly better behavior in straight course while traveling in highway with nice surface. Feeling unsure a lot, due to lack of info. Finally 3 years later, the 2 front tyres worn out after 31500 km (19,7 K miles) (12500 Km highway the rest Urban and suburban area) , while the other pair in the back is in better condition 2,5 mm tread. Not to buy them again.

Writing about the Michelin Primacy 4 given 68% (235-45-17-W)
Driving on a combination of roads for 0 average miles
This are actually the most unimpressive tires I ever had if I have to honest.
They are replacing the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 which were the best ever, but for the first 10k miles only then the driving experience was declining with every months. Before the PS4 I had PS3 and before that Bridgestone – the OEM.
I decided to give the Primacy 4 a chance as they were highly rated as very good all-rounder, but on the higher price range due to the constant performance for the duration of their life. When installed I felt no different compared to my winter tires, and nothing like the PS4. Handling is normal, grip is ok, noise is ok, braking is good, and they feel a bit soft in the corners – everything you expect form a nonperformance tire.
They bring no emotion at all – just average. Now I’ll be waiting to see if they will last 10k miles longer compared to others as promised.

My recommendation: if you bet on Michelin – go with the PS4 for about 20% more $.
If not get something cheaper – I just dot see the value for money in Primacy 4 just yet.

Driving on mostly motorways for 20000 average miles
Sidewall crack all around the tyre appeared on one of my set of Goodyear eagle F1 AS2, when there are still 4mm tread depth, after 3 year on the road (tire manufactured in year 2013). If you google Goodyear Eagle sidewall crack you will see that there are lots of reported case of sidewall crack.

Had previously run with Goodyear because of good review, they were noisy on concrete motorway.

Had never had a puncture, and always inflating to recommended pressure. The sidewall crack came about causing a slow leak on the tyre. Now the Goodyears were all replaced with Avon tyres, immediately felt quieter and hopefully will last.

Writing about the Accelera Alpha given 43% (225-40-18-W)
Driving on a combination of roads for 5000 average miles
Fitted to my Mondeo ST220, initially thought these tyres were half decent for the price and to be fair in the dry they perform well - HOWEVER, in the wet these tyres are VERY dangerous. Driving on a roundabout in the wet at 10-15mph will induce heavy under-steer, I've ended up crossing lanes and nearly forced someone to my left into the barriers as a result. Traction control light flickers away constantly in the wet even trying to accelerate on a straight road at 60mph in the wet and tyres can't find traction. With 2 young kids travelling with me most of the time i am replacing these tyres ASAP and would advise everyone not to buy them if thinking about doing so and if you have them on your car get them replaced! Shocking tyre in the wet!!!
