The tyres were chosen due to the amount of rain we get here in Wales. In that respect they were great, never missing a beat in dry or wet conditions. I had them fitted last October and to my horror, 10 months later and 10k of use they are just approching the legal limit - the previous and original tyres lasted 25k and were just as good as these in all respects. Turns out this was a waste of money - I'll be looking to replace with something better next.

Very good dry grip, Great in the wet,car has that planted feeling.
Previous Bridgstones would struggle for grip on a hill start, traction light would light up on occasion, with these Uniroyal's none of that happens.
Not had these tyres on enough to really comment on wear.
Also nice and quiet will consider these again.

We had near-torrential rainfall here the day after I had these fitted. They didn't break a sweat! I was really amazed at the wet-grip difference with the SP Sports and P7s I used to take! Will def. buy these again when I need new (non-winter) tyres.

In short these tyres perform superbly, whilst offering outstanding value for money. Dry grip is up there with the best, though this tyre's strength(unsurprisingly for The Rain Tyre)is in the wet, with total dependability in rainy conditions. The only downsides are a slight increase in noise compared to my previous Bridgestones and a very marginal decrease in miles per gallon. Moreover these tyres are made in Germany, unlike many of parent company Continental's offerings which come from Eastern Europe and South America. RainExperts can be had for as little as £67 a corner fully fitted, which for a 205/55 x 16 size is a bargain. Put simply, I cannot see myself changing from this summer tyre any time soon.

Very little road noise. Excellent wet and dry grip but noticeable reduction in fuel economy. Also vague steering compared to other brands I have tried. Ok for a standard car but unsuitable for the more aggressive driver. Its odd but you have to turn the wheel further for the same affect as any other tyre I have tried. They work well on the rear of my Fwd Greenline Fabia but I wouldnt recommend for front wheels on a Fwd vehicle.

Even in wet conditions, no wheelspin and they give me a safe feeling.
They are even more quiet and more comfy.

Have had Continentals and Hankooks. With both, have had understeer in both wet and dry. Uniroyal Rain Experts fitted, understeer gone.
Went for a family Christmas in mid Wales, out of four cars I was the only one to arrive in the snow without assistance from the farm tractor...
Very impressive tyres, good price from Black Circles. Would definately recommend them.

A really good tyre which has transformed the handling of my VW Polo.

Previous I have fitted a range of Budget and 'Mid' priced tyres to my car including some Kuhmo's and Matador (Stella 2) tyres. These [mid priced and budget tyres] made the wet weather handling very unpredicatble, the car would understeer and 'wash out' at very low speeds on most roundabouts and when driving on motorways in very wet weather hitting standing water made the car 'float' and aquaplane, breaking away with no or little warning. The ABS warning light would come on regularly too with my previous tyres on anyhting but a dry surface.

What a HUGE difference these tyres have made!!!! Wet weather driving is no longer a heart in the mouth experience, and now I feel very confident in my car and tyres.

Wet weather handling is now predictable, although a little compromised on dry weather handling and breaking.

1000 miles done (I will report back on tyre wear later), and I would highly recommend these tyres.

I never buy economy or performmance tyres but stick to the most reasonably priced "named" brands. So bought 3 of these on special at £55 each then went back for a fourth. Fitting them to my Mazda 6 has vastly changed the all round handling for the better. Sure footed as a goat on a mountain side I now feel safer on wet corners that I previously slowed down on my last set of tyres. Further the steering response is far better and there is much more feedback from the road. Dry handling is also good. Would not say that they are any louder than previous tyres. When I went back for the fourth tyre the price had gone to £64 as they had come off the Special Offer, however was so impressed I paid the extra. Have now done 5k miles on tyres covering motorway and winding country roads on a 50/50 split and would recommend them as a very good all round tyre that really excel in the wet. I Will certainly buy them again when I need replacements. I expect them to wear quicker as my simple science says they must be "softer" to give better wet grip, however, I am prepared to trade mileage for handling/safety. I would never want to go back to how my car used to handle in the wet on my previous Dunlops.

Instantly 100% better than the no-brand budget tyres that were fitted when I bought this car. Rainsport were not available in the right size, damn. However, these are quiet, comfortable and in the recent snow/ice they were gave plenty of grip and confidence. I paid £50 a tyre (ex VAT) and I class that as a bargain.
The irony of fitting wet weather tyres to a convertable is not lost on me.
