Given 84% while driving a Ford Fiesta 2009 titanium 1.4 (195/45 R16 V) on mostly motorways for 3,000 average miles
Currently running a new set on the front but have had these tyres before. Fantastic in the wet and give confidence to the driver. Wear rate isn't brilliant circa 20,000 miles but I put safety first. Noise is average especially when new. Recommend these tyres for UK roads.....often wet!!

Just put another two RM3s on the rear of my car after noticing a rumbling noise which i thought were the wheel bearings, luckily it was my old Goodyear Eagles coming to the end of their life. The RM3s are a great tyre especially for the money and came highly recommended in that price range and now all four corners have them on. The tread looks cool and gives you confidence that these will be good in the wet and I'm looking forward to see how they perform in our coming winter. Road noise is ok and seems on par with the Goodyears, in the dry they feel just as grippy as the GYs and feel as though you can still throw the car around with confidence. Overall at the moment I am impressed with these tyres. My only negative point is the poor rim protection compared to the Goodyears but don't let this put you off, at the end of the day you are buying the tyre for grip and performance.

I drive a Toyota Corolla 2005 and It is the 5th tyre I use on my car, since 2005. It is , by far, the best tyre I tried, even if it is the cheapest. It is a very soft tyre and offers an excellent handling in dry and an even better in the wet (as ''rainsport '' indicates). I have tried premium tyres like Michelin energy, exalto II, pilot sport 3, continental premium contact II and only exalto II was close to uniroyal rainsport 3, but not so good. I woyld buy it again definitely.

Fiat (225/45 R17 W) on mostly town for 15,000 spirited miles
Replaced the worn out Goodtear Eagle F1 Asymmetric tyres on my 140bhp Fiat Bravo. The first 10000 miles they were very comfortable and had splendid grip in both wet and dry. Then they began to wear. I now have done about 15000 miles with these tyres and it really starts to show. Grip is average as is the comfort. Still acceptable and safe, but need replacement soon, therefore only a 6 on wear, since the Goodyears lasted over 30000 miles.

Have them fitted on a BMW e46 , great tyres on wet and dry, had before them conti sport contact also great on wet but the wearing on those was big compared with the uniroyal , after 18000km conti sport contact 5 have 4,5 mm thread while the uniroyal after 20000km has still 5.5 mm , this was first time when I buyed uniroyal will recommend them and definitely buy them again

Iv been puting uniroyals on my car since i first discoverd them 3 years ago they are the best tyre iv found iv tryed many tyres from continetals and michelin iv never found a tyre quite like the uniroyal rainsport 3 they have u beliveable grip in conors no mater the weather can drive threw a puddle at road speed with no hands on the stering wheel and the car will drive stright threw no hasitaion in streering the confidence and peice of mind in connors and wet weather once u go uniroyal u wount go back i recomend thease tyre to everyone .

Given 67% while driving a Renault Clio 182 Cup Pack (205/45 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 8,000 spirited miles
This is the second time I've had these fitted to a car so will try and be as honest as possible.

At the moment there is a full set on the clio 182 which gets driven pretty hard. The dry grip is great for a tyre in this price range and the wet grip is pretty amazing (which you would expect from a "rainsport" tyre).

HOWEVER.... It may be the size that these are in for this particular car (last car was a Clio 197 with 17" tyres) but the side walls feel too soft. You can actually feel the car wobble a bit on the tyres. Granted you have to be pushing it but this is something I never experienced on the Clio 197. So much so after one track day the shoulders of the front two tyres are pretty much gone.

Wear is the other problem. They do wear pretty fast but the compromise is the price and the grip levels you are getting.

All in all I would probably buy these tyres again if they were a slightly lower profile perhaps. Seem a bit squishy at this size. For the price they are good.

Having had these tyres recommended I bought 4 for my golf r32
They have taken away all feedback and confidence in the handling of my car
Only recently I noticed that the directional tread patterns are different on n/s and o/s of car
They are impossible to change round to have a mirror effect on both sides
This is a bad design in my opinion and will be coming off the car asap
Under braking the car is terrible and at higher speeds it's like hitting black ice !!

Driving a 204 HP and 400 Nm BMW with 245 width rear tyres on the wet can be a serious thing. Even we careful driving, I can perfectly remember that two friends of mine had a disastrous surfing experience when their BMWs went into aquaplaning on the highway at, say a little bit too much speed, ... but not that much (140-150 km/h they said). That is when you destroy a nice car because the rear suddenly intends to take the place of the front. Bad joke. Hopefully no-one got wounded.
So of course, you will just slow down under the rain. BMWs are absolutely safe on the wet if you do not make the stupid assumption that you are above physics. Use them properly. However, when choosing tyres for this powerful and heavy RWD car, my very first criteria of choice was aquaplaning and wet grip. I could not prevent reminding about the stories of my 2 friends...
This said, I was truly amazed by these tyres under wet conditions. Their aquaplaning limit is high, even with a tread down to the 1.8 mm limit (time to change them !). And the wet grip is just awesome. Press down the pedal and get the 400 Nm down to the rear wheels, it is quite tough to force the ASC system to get into action, even under very adverse rainy conditions. Truly impressive. I felt 100% safe during the whole lifetime of these tyres, which, again, was the most important thing for me.
These Uniroyal tyres did not disappoint me under dry conditions either. There are not sporty but they grip very well, with pretty good feedback. They are quite silent. Overall I thought they have made a good fit for my BMW E46, which is not a sports car, but a comfortable and fast (and too heavy) machine.
Now the wear rate. True, it is quite high. But it was not dramatic on my BMW touring either, in spite of regular fast driving in the mountains. The Rears made 28-30 thousand kms (down to the 1.8 mm limit). This is not a great mileage, but the price of these tyres is very attractive (90€/ tyre) , and the reviews will tell you that some very expensive tyres do ALSO receive some criticism on wear rate in spite of prices up to 140-150 €.
Overall the balance is still pretty good.
Let me reformulate this: I guess this is OK... if you do not drive more than 25 000 km a year. Then above that mileage, it is probably unpleasant to change tyres every 8 to 10 months...
Just bought another pair of rear tyres, with a smile, for 185€.

I'm currently on my third car and third set of Uniroyal Rainsport 3s. This tyre is an excellent overall choice. I've been through Hankooks, Falkens and other tyres within the same price range, but none were quite as good as the Uniroyals.
They are very good in the dry, excellent in the wet to a point where my friends thought we were going to crash, as their tyres perform far worse. Excessive wear with these in my opinion at least is a total myth. I had these on three cars, all lasted over 20,000 miles. Current ones have 8k on them and they still have still plenty of life left. I'd highly recommend this tyre to all, couldn't be more happy.

Had these on: BMW E46, Volkswagen Golf Mk4, Currently running a set on an Audi A4 B6.

Given 70% while driving a Ford Fiesta ST180 (205/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 6,500 average miles
Bought these tyres 6 months ago. The grip they give the car is extremely good in both dry and wet, you can have confidence going into a corner. However, however however, I have had these on the car for 6 months and only covered 6,500 miles and my front tyres are on the limit, barely legal and needing replaced. The rear still have a couple of months left in them. I simply don't know how anyone can afford to run these permanently. I will also say that I don't drive the car too heavy footed as well. Simply won't buy these again mainly down to the wear.

Fitted these to the rears just before winter last year as I figured the oem MPSS wouldn't do too well in cold/wet weather. Bit of a mistake to be honest, I've heard many good reviews and they aren't expensive but my experience was pretty poor. For the first 2000 miles the tyre seemed to be so soft and 'squidgy' that turning at any speed over 30mph resulted in traction light flashing and the car feeling like it was about swap ends. I played about with pressures to no avail and I was almost ready to bin them as they were so disconcerting at speeds (even as simple as changing lanes on a motorway). I've heard many other M135i owners complain of the same behaviour, perhaps it's something to do with less weight being over the rear. Would make sense as FWD owners tend to have positive reviews.
Interestingly though, as they started to wear they improved in this respect. I ended up running them at 38psi cold and while it was useless to begin with it did improve to be a decent and stable tyre. Wet weather grip improved and these are MUCH better than MPSS in this regard. In the recent wet weather in the last 2-3 months they have been pretty exceptional to be fair to them, but the tradeoff is clear as when it gets warm again they don't have much outright grip. This was again proven at a trackday when I wore them to shreds on just a few afternoon sessions. I again monitored pressures and they seemed to be 'ok' but the tyre was deforming quite quickly, which was entertaining on the track but I was hoping for at least a little more life than that.
I'll be replacing with the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 and to be honest I'll just stick with these throughout the year rather than experiment with a different tyre for the seasons.
