My last review on these tyres before replacement and they have done exactly 30,000 miles and I switched the tyres back to front at 16,000 miles to get the maximum mileage out of these tyres. The fronts are on approx 2.8mm and the rears are 2.8mm also there or there abouts.

As the tyres have worn they have become slightly jittery in the wet but that is expected with threads dropping below 3mm. They have been extremely comfortable, dry and wet grip has generally been good, however the fuel consumption is at the lower end with newer more fuel efficient tyres in the market.

I bought these for £116 fitted about a year and a half ago but I have seen them now for almost £150 which is a bit pricey considering Goodyear Eagle F1 are also the same price and better.

I am now looking to replace with AVON ZZ5 which are are now £116 fitted and considering they have been tried and tested on the Audi S5 I know they will be excellent value for money.

Purchased these tyres to replace a set of Falken ZIEX914's (had two sets of these on this car). Ive been totally happy with the Falkens apart from one issue with these tyres and that is poor rim-protection for the notoriously easily scuffed 5 spoke alloys on the post 2008 facelifted CLS. After a bit of research I opted for the Vredestein's based on their chunky in built rim protectors. A set of four tyres including fitting came in at a reasonable £460 at my local tyre fitters. First impressions are good. The Vredesteins are a sportier tyre than the Falkens and have a stiffer sidewall that gives a slightly firmer ride - not too firm though and the car is still supremely comfortable on a long journey. The CLS is a big, heavy, powerful car but is surprisingly agile and I have noted sharper handling particularly when cornering with the Vredesteins when compared to the Falkens. Dry grip seems on a par with the Falkens and they are similar with overall quietness - road noise is low apart from on poor quality road surfaces. They seem to be fine in the wet though I have noticed that the traction control cuts in earlier than I would have expected when pulling away sharply on damp surfaces. Wet and dry braking seems fine too - no problems noted thus far. Too early to pass comment on wear yet as Ive only done 1200 miles on them:- Id be surprised though to get significantly better or worse than the 16k Ive consistently had for the rears and 18k for the fronts from previous sets (Falken, Bridgestone and Continental). And yes, the rim-protection is excellent on these tyres - Ive touched the kerb a couple of times already and the extra protection has saved me! Recommended at the price.

very descent tyre.
good grip and response on both wet and dry.
35000 and i think that they're still holding a bit longer
i would definitely buy them again.

Replaced the Goodyear's who wear worn for a new set of vorti's on the front.
Great tyre! Good feedback en low noise. Tyres gives a save feeling on wet and dry. Cheap in comparing with other first class brands.

I have done 18k now on these tyres and have just rotatated them front to back to try and maximise the life of the tyres. The rears were on 6mm and the fronts were on 4mm before the switch and evenly worn. I maybe should have rotated them at 10k intervals to get the best results.

Dry grip is as good as any other premium tyre, wet grip is decent as the tyres are rated as B and the tyres are progressive on the limit. They have been very comfortable and I am impressed with the wear rate. I am realistically looking at approx 25k before the tyres get to about 2-3mm all round which is when i intend to change.

Some reviews on here quoting 40k out of a set im not quite sure how that figure was achieved, as i do mostly motorway driving which is best for the tyres and gives best longlivety. They are excellent tyres and highly recommended however mpg has fallen slighly as the tyres are quite heavy but I would buy again despite this. I have noticed they have increased to £130 each up from £108 so I think ill for Michellin PS4 next as i like to try different brands.

Bought theses as they were recommended to me by a friend. I checked the review in here and that gave me some confidence they were as good as he made them out to be. They are great at everything. As good in the wet as my Uniroyal's but the side wall is stiff. It does not compromise the ride though. The noise is really low but they are brand new so I would expect that. Cant say what the wear is like yet but will report back again.

Ready to replace my vorti's, they are down to the wear marker but still feel and grip remarkably well, over 25000 miles driven fitted to the rear of the BMW (DPF removed, freeflow CAT and exhaust, chipped to approx 225hp) we have been around the Nurburgring and towed a caravan to loire valley in France in really hot weather, these tyres inspire confidence, you can feel what the tyre is doing and the grip is such that the traction control is rarely activated even in the wet. Now I have to choose a new pair of tyres and apart from trying Vredestein's new Satin model no other tyre even after reading reviews make me want to change Brand.

I drive a modified 2007 mazda Rx8 and was recommended these tires by a friend who drives an A4 2.0T. I used to have Nitto NT555 tires which were great in dry conditions, but terrifying in the rain. Right off the bat the ride was exceptionally smooth, and they were much quieter than my old tires. They have a little less feedback than what I've gotten used to (because they're new), but overall dry grip has been terrific! The biggest difference was the wet traction... These definitely aren't the best on the market in this category but they're very, very good considering the price! Cannot comment on wear yet since I've only driven about 1000kms on them!

Overall great tire for the money! Definitely would buy again!

Before I had sessantas, which were excellent if you get the pressures right (higher than other tyres, otherwise the sidewall/progressiveness suffers).
This time I went for the Vorti. Wow, what a tyre. Just swapped all four slightly worn (2-3mm) contisport contact 5's and it is like night and day. The Vorti' is just a wonderful tyre with excellent feel.
Don't forget to check your pressure though. Try a fast roundabout and if the sidewalls give (you'll feel it) then put a bit more pressure in. Once you get the right pressure, these really are the best tyres out there and check the price. Further, these are one of the only tyres not made in China (made in Netherlands).
I have never had tyres that you can trust in the wet that even come close to these for stopping.

Alfa Romeo (225/40 R18 W) on a combination of roads for 10,000 spirited miles
I had these tyres on my Alfa Romeo GT 1.9 JTDm remapped to 185hp.
I think the best tyre on my 18 inches rims.
Excellent comfort, grip on wet and dry roads.
Much better than my old Pirelli PZero Rosso and Bridgestone Potenza!

I have just had these fitted and hit almost 1k now.

All I can say is wow excellent dry and wet grip, super quiet, super comfortable, nice rim protector, and decent assymetric tread pattern.

My car is remapped to 290bhp and no issues.

Can't comment on wear yet so have left it blank, I will update at 10k miles again.

Bought for £108 per corner delivered from openeo and £50 fitting from a local tyre man.
