Got these tyres after my mechanic pestered and pestered.

my opinion?

i think they are one of the best tyres ive used.

i do drive rather quickly on the highway. but do most of my driving in town.

very comfortable, very predictable.

Wet grip can be a bit dodgy (coming from Michelin Primacy) but on dry roads, its very very good.

Got these tyres after using the poor Yokohama.

Much much quieter and has better comfort.

The handling suffered a bit. But I don't drive sportily

Good tyres. Need more driving to decide on milage

Given 40% while driving a Honda Accord (195/65 R15) on mostly country roads for 6,500 average miles
Fitted these on my car this spring.
Replaced them by now because of it's nonexisting roadfeedback og its extreme dullness. The car felt like a big fat piece of jelly.
I belive the jelly-like feel show that the tyre is not too safe if you for instans have to react fast to avoid obstacles in the road.
Never again. Really not recommended. Dont waste your money on these tires
I have endured almost 10000 km on these tires before finally replacing them for Vredestein Hi-Trac 2 which is just a complete turnaround, an extreme improvement.

Given 84% while driving a Ford Mondeo (215/50 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 2,000 average miles
OE on "Ford Direct" Mondeo 10,500 miles on clock. No complaints in the 2,000 miles I have done so far, however I never drive my cars "to the limit". More expensive than the AVON ZV5s I normally buy but cannot get them in the size + XL. Will probably buy again

A very soft and comfort tyre suitable for daily driving. It can handle speed above 160kmh quite decent, but when approaching a sharp corner, i agree with the earlier reviewer that it gives a "jelly" feel like handling with minimal steering response. I suppose it is not a performance kind of tyre given the characterisics that i have mentioned.

Overall, okay and it does give additional mileage since tyre changed. Will i buy this tyre again - dont think so as i feel Asymmetric 2 would be a better choice and much satisfaction in all areas.

Given 38% while driving a Audi A4 2.0 TFSI (205 bhp) (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 400 average miles
I bought these tyres to replace the original Bridgestone Potenzas which were factory fitted to my Audi A4. The Good Year tyres had the same specification but turned the Audi from a sharp handling car to one that felt like a jelly on wheels. Trying different pressures, from recommended to higher, did not provide any improvement. Road feel was non existant and the handling was unpredictable at both high and low speeds. The only advantage was a slight, but noticeable reduction in road noise and ride. I do not reccommend these tyres on a performance car. Have replaced them after 2 weeks.

Given 100% while driving a Holden Astra (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 0 easy going miles
Got all 4 tyres replaced with Goodyear Efficientgrip tyres. Cost a bit but very pleased with them. Haven't done 1000km on them as yet but they are quiet tyres and adds to the comfort of driving.

Given 61% while driving a Renault Megane II Break 1.5dCI 105Hp (205/55 R16 V) on a combination of roads for 15,000 average miles
Average tyre, not too good not too bad in any aspect. I was disappointed with tyre wear, the car is a Mégane 105 2007 so not very powerful and the Goodyears lasted the same as the Continentals Premium Contact, a better tyre allround.
They gave a better fuel consumption, maybe 0,2L / 100 Kms. but to me it doesn't compensate at all the loss in handling and the worse grip both on dry and wet surfaces compared to a non-eco tyre.

Good grip and comfort. Front tyres worn out after 15000km on my FWD Mondeo zetec tdci 2011.

I totally disagree with other comments that refer these tyres giving jelly like feel, if they had decent handling cars they'd realise that these tyres give good grip and feel when driven hard in wet and dry conditions. When driven 'normal' road noise is low comfort is high and the wear rate is very good, I don't really notice any real gain in fuel consumption but that is probably down to the way I drive. I would recommend these tyres.

Recommended by friend, and the price was reasonable.

Quiet, smooth, soft and comfort.

Not enough grip in take off, braking power took much longer than potenza R050.

Wet grip is acceptable.

Would I recommend? Yes.

Just changed a set In my rear which replace my ori bridgestone potenza R050 RFT, the feeling is totally different with mine previously potenza, I felt the take off acceleration is not aggressive, the braking is take longer than mine potenza, which I felt a bit of dangerous.
Overall is very quiet and soft, much more comfortable.
