BMW 325d Tyre Review Highlights

Writing about the Bridgestone Turanza T005 given 34% (225-45-17-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 18640 spirited miles
Quite a dissapointing tyre, even considering the low price in this size. It didn't suit the car at all. No road feedback and low grip when pushed a bit. Very very good and confidence-inspiring in the wet though. The front tires were wearing down quickly on the outsides. Way too noisy for a touring tyre. I do not recommend.

Writing about the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 given 97% (235-45-17-)
Driving on mostly motorways for 200 spirited miles
Goodyear Asymmetric 6 are new breed of performance tyres for me. I have no prior experience with Asymmetric 5 or any earlier models. Dry grip excellent, wet grip great, tyres are incredibly responsive, doesn't back out of tight corners and roll so silently that i hear more engine purring than tyres rotating on asphalt (and that is with a diesel car with engine noise insulation!). Tyres are a bit rough as they keep finding "rails" in car lanes, meaning that i can't let my eyes go shut for a second if i don't want to lose control of the car but that just proves how responsive the tyres are in the first place and i love it. Tyrewear will have to wait as i need to drive atleast 30 000 kilometers with them first. Great tyres for fun active driving, annoying for passive point A to B and maybe C driving. Will buy them again if there are no other versatile all-round performance tyres like Asymmetric 6.

Writing about the Bridgestone Potenza Sport given 99% (225-45-17-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 1000 spirited miles
Monstrous grip on dry or wet roads. Very direct and very precise steering. Very fun, track and road tires. A little noisier and less comfortable, but super sporty. Absolutely to try. We hope they have an acceptable duration.

already on car when I bought it...dry weather no problem... wet weather absolute death trap, at first I thought there must have been some diesel or something spilt on the road...shocking .

Driving on a combination of roads for 75000 average miles
Put a pair of 275/35 Y 18 ns20 on the rear of my 5 series BMW they didn't last 7500 miles before they failed the annual MOT test .I got over 20000 miles on my last set of tyres so not happy to say the least . Getting premier tyres fitted and awaiting delivery . You get what you pay for but will be having strong words with my local tyre fitters about these RUBBISH Nankangs .

Driving on a combination of roads for 1500 average miles
came already fitted, traction control activates in any conditions, they don't wear out because compound is too hard which equals no grip. The road noise is loud, £54 per tyre my life is worth more than that will be changing them real soon.

I have these tyres on a new set of alloys I bought to replace run flats on my BMW 3 series, and so far they are great, good feedback, comfort is brill after jarring RF's, done some fast roundabouts in damp/wet conditions and they seem fine, don't know about wear yet, but if that is reasonable will defo buy again!!!
