BMW 525 TDS Tyre Review Highlights

Writing about the Rovelo RPX 998 given 84% (245-40-17-)
Driving on mostly town for 14000 spirited miles
£45 a corner

Excellent all rounder, handling is crisp and feedback is good. Nice progressive tyre with plenty of grip wet and dry.

Puts premium brands to shame.

Only replacing rear tyres due to budge cause by me hitting a kerb.

Have just ordered a new pair.

Driving on a combination of roads for 8000 average miles
Very good tyres! I was a bit sceptic at the time of purchase (I chose them because I don't do very high mileage with my personal car and didn't want to spent a lot of money as I change tyre sets every 3 years) but at the end of the day i was very happy with my purchase. Excellent grip in the dry, pretty good in the wet as well, but the best is the very low noise and the ride quality - they are SUPERB and my tyres are XL ! The wear seems to be very good as well. If NEXEN doesnot change the N'Blue line till next summer tyres change I will definetely buy them again, or I will try the next model

Writing about the Hankook Ventus V12 evo k110 given 89% (255-40-17-)
Driving on mostly country roads for 21000 average miles
I loved that tyres

The limit of the tyres is really intuitive and makes you confident in driving. The grip was awesome.

I'd buy them again but the tyre dimension isn't produced anymore by hankook...

Shame

Writing about the Barum Bravuris 2 given 20% (255-40-17-)
Driving on mostly country roads for 5000 average miles
Horrible tyres.

Tyre wear is really critical, the tyre heats heavily after 3 miles of agressive driving which affects wear and poor response in steering wheel.

5000 miles done compared to the 22000 miles i have done with K110 from Hankook

Writing about the Uniroyal RainExpert given 77% (225-60-15-V)
Driving on mostly country roads for 20000 spirited miles
Very good grip in the wet, good in the dry, predicable all round. I would like to get more miles out of them. We get lots of rain in the west of Ireland very impressive on the wet country roads here. You will have to push them very hard to lose them.
