BMW 535xd Tyre Review Highlights

Writing about the Bridgestone Potenza Sport given 74% (275-40-18-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 10 spirited miles
Pros: very strong performance on twisty roads with high speed. Stops very well on both dry and wet. Makes the car feel extremely stable. Not too noisy. Cons: the worst thing about this tyre is that it is almost fully worn for one season. My rear 275/40/18 rear tyres are almost completely done after 8 months or 16-17k km. Front tyres 245/45/18 look just fine and can be used 1 or 2 more seasons. Other negative side is the rough, bumpy ride. Yesterday, I put my winter Pirellis Sotozero on and now it rides like a boat. You can drive and chill

Ideal tyre for my BMW. Dry and wet handling is excellent also at warmer temperatures around 10/15 degrees. Low wear, low noise but quite stiff and rigid sidewall especially if compared to Goodyear tyres. I would highly recommend it

Replaced my Goodyear runflats with this tyre and it was a big step up in ride comfort and noise. Grip feels excellent but haven't really pushed them, one thing I notice is that gravel gets thrown up the wheel arches = seems like really sticky rubber. Can only recommend.

Worst tires ever. EVER. They were realigned every time I got my oil changed and yet my car shook constantly...and shook hard -- so hard my face skin was shaking. Miserable wastes of money. Save yourself some money and angst -- your car is meant to be enjoyed.
