Bad, bad.
These tyres do not last. Less than 20k miles is a joke. I could have accepted that if these tyres were really excellent in other areas such as grip or noise - but they are not. In fact they are pretty bad in those areas too.
Get a grip BMW, and sort this mess out. I have had about 6 BMWs, and I am not thinking about another make simply because of this RFT mess.

Standard fitnemt to most BMW's from factory and do not let down they dry grip is up there with Michellin PS2 and they are not that far off in terms of wet grip too. Very progressive on the limits and wear rate is not bad for a low profile tyre would buy these again.

The first time that I've tried winter tyres - with 300+BHP and RWD, I needed them in the recent snow / ice. In winter conditions these tyres are fantastic - not only for traction but also for braking to a stop. Where I live the road out of our village onto the main road is nicknamed the Cresta Run as your only way to stop on ice / snow is praying. With the Vredesteins on you no longer have a problem. The only stressful part of driving on ice, is whether the guy behind can stop on his summer tyres. The tyres are also quiet, comfortable, and wear well. After 4500 miles I still have 8mm of tread on the front and 7mm on the back. I have now switched back to my summer tyres Goodyear F1 Asymetrics. These do have better straight line stability and turn in, however I would recommend winter tyres to everybody, and the Vredestein's to everybody who drives a car with large diameter wheels and low profile tyres.

Thought I would try winter tyres on what is a powerful rear wheel drive car, replacing the Goodyear F1 Asymmetric summer tyres for the recent wintery conditions. Fitted 225/40/18 all round as opposed to 255/35/18 normally on the back. The Vredestein's are surprisingly quiet comfortable with good handling in normal conditions, however they are excellent in snow and ice. I will obviously switch back to the Goodyear's for summer conditions as they are better, however if I still had the original Bridgestone RE050a runflats, I would stick with the Vredestein's all year round - they are that good!

I bought the car only a few months old from BMW with the standard run flat Bridgestone Potenza tyres. The rear tyres are now bald on the inner edges after covering only a total of 13,600 miles and need replacing. I am astonished at only a short life and whilst I can put with the very hard ride and having to keep an extreme awareness of 'potholes' and sunken manhole covers, the suspension is a worse ride than my Morgan Sports car with sliding pillar suspension of 1909 era. They are the worst tyres I have ever experienced in 45 years of driving and will get rid of as soon as possible!

49k miles on 2 sets 225/40/18 front & 255/35/18 rear. Wear OK but grip in wet is horrendous even 20mph slow around roundabouts induces a front slide and big understeer. I've had 4 wheel alignment checked twice in case potholes knocked it out but all correct and front tyres still wear heavily on outside. If I didn't do 50% motorway miles these tyres would NOT last 1/2 distance. Ride is very hard and you certainly know when you hit a road hole. VERY disappointing from Bridgestone :(
My previous BMW 330ci had Dunlop SP9000 Sport and they were brilliant.

Good grip levels in the dry but can be a bit iffy in the wet. extremely crashy ride, almost feels like there is no give in the side wall at all(i know there runflats and 30 profile....)i'm changing tomorrow to Good Year Asymetrics - non Runflats. extreme wear on the inside of both front and back potenzas, maybe a combination of m-sport suspension and runflats.

Vast improvement on RE050a run flat OEMs. Better steering feel, massively better in wet, quieter and more comfortable - really improves how an already great car drives. Wear at this early stage also looks pretty good.

Driving on a combination of roads for 6000 spirited miles
Best tire I have used to date. Better than the PS2 and Nero tires in all accepts. This tire loves to be pushed to limit and is very predicable when at the edge with very good feedback. The Advan sport grip is far superior to any high performance tire in fall and spring temperatures. Wet weather performance is extremely good and almost rivals the dry performance. The tire produces almost no road noise at all.
