BMW F30 320D Tyre Review Highlights

Writing about the Hankook Ventus Prime 4 given 93% (205-60-16-)
Driving on mostly country roads for 5000 spirited miles
Very good tyres, low noise and very good grip especially when you are late and need to get somewhere faster

Driving on mostly motorways for 80000 average miles
A good dry performer. Average web performance Front installation lasted more than 80000miles RFT tyres were too stiff and produced a bumpy ride especially with 19"

Writing about the Michelin Energy Saver given 77% (205-60-16-H)
Driving on a combination of roads for 20000 spirited miles
I have these tyres for 3 years now on my summer wheels. They are ok for most drivers, but they are quite bad on wet surfaces when it’s below 15 Celsius. They also feel a bit unsecure at higher speeds (over 160 kph - 100 mph). My Skoda Octavia with Goodyear Eagle F1 gsd3 feels a lot better at high speeds than the 3series with Michelin Energy Saver. The fuel economy compared to the winter tyres that I use (Goodyear ultragrip 8) is not so different. Probably 0.2 l/100km less on the Energy Saver. During colder mornings the back of my car goes sideways quite fast if I accelerate a bit harder. Conclusion: I will go for other tires next season.

Excellent all round summer tyre. A little noisier than PS4S I had before on 19s, but these on 18s are nearly as good, but since PS4S weren't available in 18s, went with PS4 and not really disappointed. I expect less life out of them as they seem fairly soft, but already very impressed by performance, especially braking.

Driving on mostly motorways for 13000 average miles
Best tyre i've had, dry/wet grip is fenomenal. Wear seems pretty good aswell. Driven about 13k miles/20000km with these tyres, and i've got at least 50% left on the rears.
Driven in Sweden, so much wet roads!
(comparing to continental, pirelli, Michelin. And hankooks, but they were really rubbish)
