BMW X1 25D Xdrive Tyre Review Highlights

Driving on a combination of roads for 3100 spirited miles
I was initially interested in this tyre from the reviews both from our man, and from other sources. I was initially pleased by the comfort and the grip in general but surprised by a behavior I noticed only on this tyre: the load shift on a fast bend, especially if you touch the brakes, is so bad I need to correct on the steering, something that I never had to do on any other tyre on this car, both runflat and not. Makes it feel like the car’s suspension is suddenly perished, this at 2,2bar (front) and 2,3 bar (rear). Things got better by raising the pressure significantly, now it’s at 2,5/2,7 and the tyre feels much better, but still does that thing on fast bends, especially on a particular narrow bend downhill. I hate it and this alone would not make me choose this tyre again, it never happened with other brand and tyres and I had Conti Sport Contact 5, Falken (not UHP), Yokohama V105… i think it could be due to the rigidity of the sidewall, but go figure

Driving on a combination of roads for 5000 easy going miles
Absolutely dreadful, collected my 20k miles BMW X1 with these things on and my god are these things LOUD and uncomfortable! ! my part exchange was a Skoda YETI and it was absolutely silent in comparison with Potenza S02s on it. I don't care how much ware there is left on them they are being swapped for anything that's quieter than these! Absolutely the WORST tyre I've had in 40+ years driving!

Excellent tyre, I bought them at the end of this winter season, right after I purchased my new X1 (F48) 25D Xdrive. Tyre in dry, wet and snow. Have not tested on ice. Very smooth, progressive with a good road feedback, and extremely comfortable and quite. Highly recommend this tyre for winter, of the very few existing in this dimension and of this car.
