This is an update from my November 2011 review of these tyres.
Since then the car has been used daily for both commuting and leisure and the mileage is now around 14,000 on them so I can give an even more informed opinion.
My partner drove the car fitted with these tyres all through the winter snow, ice and rain and only reported one minor slide and that was down to her being overly optimistic when entering a snow corner covered slightly too fast and you can't blame the tyres for that.

Other than having to replace one tyre through hitting a deep pothole which caused the sidewall to blister, the tyres have behaved as good as any tyre I've had fitted to any of my cars over the years.
The mileage wear is remarkable and handling is good in all conditions even when pushed on the GT, so much so that I have fitted a pair to the rear of my C2 VTR driving school car and I'm about to replace the front tyres with the Deltas to complete the set.
There's a lot of rubbish talked about tyres, mostly by drivers who are clueless when it comes to handling a car properly - these tyres are both excellent value for money and give a level of handling that can compete with many mid to premium brand tyres and should never let anyone down if the car is driven remotely sensibly.

Would I buy Deltas again?... based on my experience, you bet I would!

When will idiots relise that just because a tyre is bad on one car doesent mean to say its bad on all cars i find these tyres very good valvue for money, Grip in the dry is fine and fine in the wet wouldnt call them dangerous at all. To all the the reviews ive read of people loosing grip at 20mph get your lookes at or learn to read the road surface.

Writing about the Accelera Delta given 89% (195-45-16-)
Driving on mostly country roads for 5000 spirited miles
There was a brand new set of Accelera Delta tyres fitted to an 04 plate, C2 GT which I bought 4 months ago. Since then, my partner has driven the car daily - her daily work commute is a 40 mile round trip across some of the most windy roads in the country. She certainly doesn't hang around ( spirited would be a good description) and has reported no problems with grip or handling, even during the recent wettest periods.

I've only driven the car a handful of times but I certainly gave it a jolly good testing of the car's and tyre's limits and both the car and tyres behaved impeccably on some very poor roads and not once did I experience any problems. On motorways, the tyres also behave as they should.

The tyres are firm and responsive if slightly noisy on rough roads but the grip is there when eaccelerating hard with the little sporty car and certainly nothing to worry about!
So far, the tyres have shown little wear in the 5000 miles they've covered so I'd expect decent wear from them.
For budget priced tyres, they are excellent and have exceeded my expectations.
Would I purchase another set...most definitely yes!

Driving on mostly town for 9000 average miles
The car came with Continentals on it from the dealer, (after getting them to change 3 of them for being near the markers) after these died, I got these after being reccomended them. Dry Grip, I find is reasonably good on the front, but on the rear not too great, often feels "loose". In the wet this is worse.

Wear was very bad on these about 10000 miles, and when on the markers they were very troubelsome to standing water.
