The best tire for grip on snow and ice I experienced so far. You won't find a better tires for such price. It really surprised me how good it holds on snow slowly going up a hill without any problems while others had to go much faster and still were not sure if they would make it.

Driving on mostly town for 15000 average miles
Bought these 3 years ago and yeah I probably have to do a geometery on my car but I can see very excessive wear on the outside while there is absolutely no wear on my winter Nokian tyres. Also those Michelins I had before these Matadors lasted 9 years with almost no wear at all, only that the rubber started to crack already. I should mention that my Matador tyres were made in Portugal. Just don't save the money so hard, you won't save them anyway. Even though those made somewhere else than Portugal might be a better quality.

Driving on a combination of roads for 20000 spirited miles
When they where new, the dry and wet grip on the straight was very good. I the corners it is not very good, but they are touring not sports tyres. The problem is that after 3 years, they lost all the performance. The thread is still deep, although there are cracks starting to appear on the threads. Now, they don't brake as good at all, they slip a lot more when accelerating from a stop. It is even worse in the wet of course. For this reason I would not buy Toyo again, but rather Michelin, since they will keep their performance for much longer.

Driving on a combination of roads for 18700 average miles
Drove these tires for six summer seasons and for about 30,000 kms. Quiet when new and relatively comfortable. Became noisier and less comfortable during the years. Dry grip OK, but worsened after fourth season. Wet grip was a low point always, never had feeling of security.

The tires were made in Poland, and look astonishingly like Debica Passio, also a Goodyear tire made in Poland.

Wouldn't buy them again and can only recommend these tires if you're driving easy on mostly dry roads and can get them very cheap.

Replaced them with Fulda EcoControl HP in the same size, and a change is straight away noticeable in a very positive matter.
