This is "do not rush me" tyre. If you drive according to the prescribed speed limits or below in bad conditions this tyre will "obey the orders". Only in that case you'll get the best from it.
After 30000km consider them unusable because almost every possible grip is lost. I didn't find this tyre suitable for driving on high speed because lack of stability. Also aquaplaning is pretty dangerous situation, even at 70 km/h. Surprisingly, 'had no bad experience when cornering on dry.

Very weak on wet roads, turning and braking are awful. On dry it doesn't impress also but it is a little better.
I' ve made 30000kms with them and i think they would last at least more 10000kms, but i'm going to put new tires because this ones don't give me the confidence i need, speacially on the wet.

not bad for the money paid £77 for two fronts fitted a year ago. only done 8k and they're being replaced with Avons / Firestones. We've done over 200k in this model of Doblo in 13 years. There aren't that many XL brands to fit and these cars are heavy on front tyres. todays trip was nearly 63mpg. we've been averaging around 53mpg on Landsil. yes i'd recommend if you need to save pennies. we didn't and i'd rather fuel economy as this is a second car in a low use rural family. runs are either 25 mile or 100 mile round trips. plus maybe four 500 mile round trips a year. was so desperate to have new fitted before the promised snow we took in stock GT Radial City FE1. they initially appear very quiet in comparison to the last year. handle well for braking and initially show 10mpg better. I know this will drop off and will review again when they're end of life! actually enjoyed driving the shed again today as the steering is much less heavy

Writing about the Michelin CrossClimate Plus given 83% (185-65-15-T)
Driving on mostly country roads for 5000 spirited miles
I live in Cumbria, where we have steep hills and get lots of wet weather, and some snow. I drive a Fiat Doblo 1.9jtd with narrow (by modern standards) 185/65/15 tyres.
For the last 40 years, on a variety of cars, I have changed from summer to winter tyres according to season. This means I can get around whatever the road and weather conditions, and don't need an expensive 4x4. This is the best solution, if affordable.

However, this autumn, I bought a full set of Michelin Cross Climate+ for around £70 per tyre.

In normal conditions, whether wet or dry, I have found the CC+ to be very similar to my previous, good-quality, summer tyres. They are quiet and give a good ride. Fuel consumption has not been affected. They also handle well and allow more accurate steering through high-speed bends than the winter tyres I have previously used (normally Vredestein or Yokohama). Braking has been good, in both wet and dry, and in sub-7degree temperatures, when winter tyres come into their own..

However, the acid test came yesterday - how do they perform in snow and slush? We had between 4 and 6-inches of fresh snow, which then thawed to the usual slippery mush.
Compared to winter tyres, the CC+ gave reasonable grip and enabled me to drive safely up hill and down dale - conditions weren't extreme (by Cumbrian standards), and the tyres coped well. I felt they became somewhat less secure latterly, as the snow melted.

The only downside comes when braking - they take much longer to come to a halt than winter tyres, and lock up more quickly. So more care is needed, and I will have to drive more slowly in these conditions.

Overall, though, many people should find these tyres a good compromise, especially if they live in areas where snow is rare.

It is too early to tell how long these tyres will last, (no obvious wear after 5,000 miles), and whether their good characteristics will continue (as Michelin claims), throughout their lives.

Driving on mostly country roads for 8000 easy going miles
The tyre walls perished and cracked to such an extent that all were scrap at 14 months old and 8k miles even though the date stamp showed they were manufactured in the year of fitting (2014) and they were in UK (i.e. negligible sun damage). Never again.

Writing about the Goodyear UltraGrip 8 given 80% (195-60-16-T)
Driving on a combination of roads for 10000 easy going miles
I have been using the UG8 for two winters now on my Doblo and they have completely sold me on winter tyres. They are quiet in the dry have compliant side walls and ride more comfortably than my summer tyres which are admittedly more focussed. I have driven in snow up to 6 inch's deep miles from anywhere in the North Pennines, N.Yorks, Scotland and deepest Essex and they have never let me down or got me stuck. Their hill climbing ability is amazing even on a 2wd. On snowy and icy hills I just set the throttle and hold it in position and let the traction control work out the rest. I realised just how good they were once I had overtaken the fourth stranded 4wd on summers that I saw stuck on hills. I even towed a stranded 4wd Mitsubishi up a snow covered hill last year near Alston. The driver was both grateful and embarrassed. Great tyre and will buy this or the new UG9 at the end of this winter when these will be getting low.

Driving on a combination of roads for 20000 easy going miles
I bought the 'C' rated cargo version for my van. Most van tyres are noisy, but the modern 5 rib design of the CF1 and a slightly softer rubber compound means they are much quieter and makes the van corner better in the dry, more like a hatchback with much less understeer. They are not great on mud and snow though like most 5 rib designs.
