FPV car is heavy 1800kg and 310kw/570nm through rear wheels so 245 width is always a challenge, these tyres held up very well hooked up well with not too much wheelspin, cornering was very crisp. Car tends to overwhelm tyres with soft sidewalls, these were great though, and very predictable on the limit. There was a downside though in that tyres became very noisy after 30,000km, rubber seemed to harden off and noise got so bad that I changed them out even though there was plenty of tread left, would only plan on 30,000km life based on this problem. Would buy again.

I bought a complete set of these in a staggered fitment, 245/30/20 on the front of my 07 Ford FPV Typhoon, and 275 30 20 on the rear. the fronts are half worn but the rears have just melted in the rain or whatever as I only got 6000 kilometres out of them until they were well below the wear indicators. of which the last 3.5mm disappeared over one weekend trip which covered 1800 km.
I have had a better life from Dunlop Sport Maxx 245/35/19 on the same car getting 14000 km from them, Maxxis 245/35/19 getting 12000 km out of one set at 42 psi pressure and 9000 km out of another set at 36psi.
I got better mileage and grip from Nankang NS2 255/35/19 which lasted 12000 km at 39 psi.
I definitely wont buy these Falken tyres again. I am about to try some Goodyear 285 25 20 Eagle F1 Asymmetric and will report on those in due course. I wish Vredestrain tyres were available in New Zealand as they seem to have the best reviews, I cant justify Pirelli or Michelin at $1000 NZD a tyre I cant see them lasting twice as long..

Had the Dunlop SP Sport Maxx as stock on my car, but travelled 42,000KMs. The tyres are not bad in dry condition but woeful in the wet (sometime dangerous when accelerating). So it was time to change.
Changed all four tyres to F1 Asy 2 (doesn't come cheap approx $1500) and you can straight away see the difference, stick to the road and gives you confidence push it to the limit. The dry grip is excellent but it is the wet grip that is so impressive, you can take roundabouts and corner with confidence without sliding. I would strongly recommended these tyres for high powered vehicle with 280+ Kw. Goodyear Asymmetric 2 is par with the continental sc5, but I personally think they are better both in dollars and grip.

These came as OEM on my car.I've travelled about 6,200 miles on these tyres and they should NOT have been catergorized as high performance tyres.
Not progressive and woeful in the wet.Dry traction is borderline if driven in a spirited fashion.
If you have a car with at least 300bhp stay away from these Dunlops.
