Good tires for the money, had them on a Mondeo 2.0 TDCi with 140 PS. I used the 205/50/17 93W XL.
Used them 4 summers in Eastern-Europe, no problem at all. They could still go another summer :)

I'll keep it short and sweet. I've had these fitted on the front of 2.0 TDCi Mondeo, 130bhp.

I do 90% of my driving on the motorway but I certainly don't hang around, the tyres have 3mm left after 12,000 miles. I expect them to last at least another 3,000 miles.

When I first had these fitted, they absolutely transformed the ride of my car without a doubt. It's not hard to believe as they replaced chinese ditch finders that vibrated really bad at speed (I thought it was wheel bearing until I replaced the tyres) but I remember being astounded and I'm usually very cynical as to how much of a difference could be noticed.

The tyres themselves are very comfortable, I don't suffer any fatigue from noise driving 2 hours to work and the stopping distance really is pretty phonemenal in the wet. I've done a couple of emergency stops (in the wet) and really I couldn't believe how quick I stopped. In fact I can't recall a time where they've skidded or the cars understeered as I take roundabouts fairly quick. I use to understeer all the time in the wet with Chinese Ditch Finders.

If I was concerned purely about wet braking then I would purchase again, however for me when it comes to replacement time because of the comparatively high wear I'll more than likely choose Michelin Energy Saver +

These are by far the best budget tyres i`ve had on a car,and they`re better than a lot of the dearer tyres on the market.They are quiet at any speed,the grip in the the dry is really good and so is the wet grip with plenty of feel.Well impressed for £43 each fitted and balanced,I would definately have them again.

Cheap and allright for leisure driving. Bad for fast cars. Spinning around in wet conditions. Long Lasting - done 9800 miles and they still have 5mm tread left. Would not buy them again for Mondeo 2.0 TDCi 130BHP.

Fitted to Mondeo 2.0 TDCi at Front and they were BAD maybe because I oversized them to 235/45 instead of standard 225/40. Fitted them at rear and they are perfect now but front must be made with PREMIUM brand for perfect handling.

Fitted tchem to Mondeo MK3 2.0 TDCi, front wheels spinning even in dry conditio. Sqeaking in car parks. USELESS - Do NOT buythose tyres. If you want cheap good quality tyres go for: Kumho or Goodrich. Not as cheap but works excellent in dry and wet conditions.

Bought 3 from f1 in Rugby and done 29k before changing the fronts. They still had 3 mm but I do high milage so abd would rather not take a chance. Driving a mixture of motorways and country lanes aI found them to be as good if not better than a lot of the dearer brands Ive tried before. I will definitely buy again overall very pleased

Overall good price/performance ratio. Used them on a mondeo 2.0 TDCi tuned to 186 HP 408 Nm. Could chase a BMW 330CD chip-tuned by me, and it was fun! Rear tyres suffered from uneven wear, got worn out on the inside quite fast - must be a wheel alignement problem. Had a puncture by a screw on a highway while chasing some italiano in BMW E90 at 190+ km/h (120+ mph) - rear left tyre went flat. Nothing really happened, the car became a bit gummy, and let me know something was wrong. I released throttle and drove about one kilometer at 110 km/h to get out of the tunnel and then stopped on a SOS place. This tyre sure did its job - even when flat!

Otherwise this tyre can be driven very sporty. You still hold the control of your car even when oversteering through the corner. Very good in dry, a bit worse in wet, it really depends on the type of surface. Very loud ride - I don't like it. Maybe that's because of uneven wear on the rear axle. Fuel economy went worse for a fair bit when switching from 215 mm GY Ultragrip-8 to 225 mm Sunny 3970. They lasted 30000 km (a bit less than 20k miles). Fast speed stability ok, was quite confident even at 240 km/h (150 mph). I don't know if I'd buy again, I really disliked the noise. It didn't bother me when I was alone in the car, but trying to talk to someone at 130+ km/h was almost like in a rally car. If they were quieter, I'd probably buy again.

This are one of the best tyre for those who drive fast and want the best grip tyre, in dry and wet. But they are so so hard in confort... forget the comfortable because the tires are super stiff...

A very good tyre, I would bye again for sure, if your a regular driver, not a speed freak mind, but do tramp on at times, and sensible in the bends, this tyre is the biz, and I'm not talking looks although they are good too, honestly you will be surprised.

Get you by the MOT Dont expect much else.
Poor in the wet. Car wants to understeer even driving at a modest pace. Had Toyo Proxes on before which are in a different league, so rules out a car set up issue. Under medium breaking in the wet the ABS can intervene.
In the dry they are okish, their side walls appear to be a little weak. Vibration at motorway speeds.
