Ford XR 6 Turbo 50th Anniversary Tyre Review Highlights

Writing about the Pirelli P Zero given 56% (265-35-19-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 8125 average miles
Great tyres in the dry, easy to break loose in the wet with moderate acceleration. They are needing to be replaced at 13,000km (8,125 miles) which in my books is about half what I expected. I usually get between 25,000 with soft compound up to 40,000km. At the price of Pirelli Zeros will not be getting them again. Disappointing

Writing about the Kumho Ecsta PS91 given 100% (245-35-19-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 12000 spirited miles
Just fitted in ,so left "WEAR" blank. Drover in rain (Aussie Ford FG Turbo 270 Kw )-Tyres are perfect at take off and hard cornering on the wet also very quiet and gripy.Swapped from KU19 (Done 22,000 Km) ,I was thinking about KU39 but for $20 more choose SP91 (AUD 250 each corner).BTW Kumho's tyres are amazing, and not only for the price.

Driving on a combination of roads for 5000 spirited miles
Driving XR6 Turbo with 270 kW and flat 5 sec to 100 km/h stock, Kumho KU19 are best Tyres i ever had, Amazing grip at hard cornering on dry or wet doesn't make a difference. Take offs are also amazing no traction control piping up and no marks left behind.Very quiets at 130 km/h i can still hear engine not the road.Use to have Falkens,Michelins,Dunlops but Komho a way ahead from all of them. Will buy again for this price.
