Driving on a combination of roads for 6000 average miles
Worst tyre I've ever used. Chinese tires had more grip than these in the wet. Dry grip was ok but this is in no way a daily-able tire due to the dangerously low wet grip.

And to think I had these on my fronts until I switched them to the back.

Outright useless in serious winter conditions. Stopping in the rain is so terrible, you might as well consider them economical, because once you set off, you will never stop again despite your best efforts. Jokes aside, they really are terrible in the wet. The only thing that takes your mind away from the crap performance is when you start thinking about the noise, because they are noisy. Generally, assuming you want to perform spirited driving in the dry, they are okay. I replaced the rear ones for studded Pirelli Ice Zeros which turned out phenomenal, and left the crap Kumho in the front. Left them there for a long time, and the wear didn't seem all too bad. So that's the one single positive aspect about them

Super disappointed from these tyres.I wanted premium touring tyre for my Lexus and purchased the latest Michelins.
Grip dry and wet - good.They have soft sidewalls and bend in the corner but that's to be expected.I prefer the comfort over the bumps which they provide.
The big disappointment is the NOISE.On rough road its dissaster.With 80kmh you cant here the passenger talking.On smooth asphalt they are okay.On rough surface they are MUCH worse than my previous Bridgestone , Kleber , Kumho.
Never again Michelins first and last try.Expensive mistake

Writing about the Avon ZV7 given 40% (245-45-17-)

Got ZV7s on the rear in summer 2020 and not even a year later a tyre shop advised that they started cracking and should monitor them. Contacted Avon for warranty and they didn't really want to say anything unless I returned the tyre to them and would get credit in return from the original tyre fitter - not guaranteed though. Ran them for a year more and now at around 5.5mm tread have to replace them as the cracking is really bad - both in between the treads and across the treads - even the oval where the DOT is written has cracked....never again!

An absolute waste of money! Do NOT Buy this tyew if you value your family's safety and wish to reach your destination. Absolutely no aftersales support in South Africa. Its pushed by the big tyre dealers as a budget tyre but they can't help when there's an issue. Rather spend more and buy a better or reputable tyre and not risk "tyre separation." Kiran

Went from Jinyu 53 tyres to yokohama. Straight up after fitment, I noticed how bad the wheels were exposed in comparison to the Jinyus even though both doesn't claim to have any Rim Protect design. These were just so bad. Performance of Yokohama are way better, especially in the wet. I felt very confident on a 70MPH motorway drive in the middle of a cold and windy downpour. Ride comfort is worse than Jinyus- bumpier and way way louder. The stretches where my car used to be absolutely quiet are now producing deafening tyre noise. Just not worth the money at all. Would not recommend them even at a 50% discounted sale!

Marshall tires are made and owned by Kumho. Seems to be the their "budget" make, thread patterns look really similar to defased/discontinued Kumho products. Got a pair of these at the rear of my Lexus IS250 RWD. Dont know for sure when exactly the previous owner installed them, but ive done around 10.000 miles on them and they look good as new, save from a small chip on one of the outer sidewalls. They are really quiet and I have not managed to get them to break traction. Punctured one around 2.000 miles in and got it repaired with no further issues. Quite remarkable since the Dunlop's DZ102 wich the car has on the fronts are past their mid life with less mileage Dry and wet grip fells really good, they are perfectly capable of putting down the power of my IS, granted its not the most powerfull car out there, but judging by feel I would be perfectly happy to fit these on my 350 F Sport. Seem like a traditional korean tire to me, great wear, perfectly acceptable in everything else if not a little dull, overall great value.

These are really good price/performance wise. Grip on both dry and wet is pretty decent for a budget UHP, while being VERY comfortable for the category and price. They are really quiet and the ride is comparable to a decent touring tire while being more grippy as stated. Sidewall and thread look really nice. The downside is they wear pretty fast, at least in my application. 12.500 miles in they seem to be past the half of their threadlife, wich is weird since they are rated 460 Threadwear, wich is pretty high for a UHP Summer, think they might have another 10k miles in them. Can't really be mad about it since they are less than half the price of more "premium" tires like the PS5 while still being a brand name. If you can get a deal on them factoring their shorter life I would recommend them.

For the competitive price and above 8 scores across all parameters. This tire is truly a winner which offers the best advantages. The only down side is the tire could get a little noisy after 20,000km in my personal experience.

Have these fitted to the rear axle of my Lexus IS250. Bearing in mind that they are a budget touring tyre, they have actually been rather impressive. Dry grip is decent but not fantastic. Perfectly adequate for a daily driver. Wet grip is decent with sensible driving. Good value.
