Driving on track for 3000 spirited miles
Came with car when I purchased it.
Running them on a standard suspension setup Mini JCW R56 except tuned to around 270 bhp and has a Quaife LSD, found them to mirror a lot of the people saying the grip was ok and they squeal around fast corners even when warmed up.
On the road a fine tyre but can still spin them up in the 1st 3 gears. Plus just back from Brands Hatch and would not buy again, after just a lap or two they just slide on corners I'd like to power out of and should be able to in the dry. A better budget tyre would be Federal RS-R's (ran a few sets of these on previous cars) but I'll be looking at R888R's next (ran a few of these also).

Awesome tire, I went from run flats to these. I have a light car so they wear whell.

Driving on mostly country roads for 20000 average miles
These came standard with my 2012 Mini Cooper Coupe JCW and Im currently on my second set. I knew these cars had sports suspension and figured it was the car itself that was rough and after 7yrs Im almost at wits end to sell it because its so uncomfortable to drive on the country roads. We also have a 2017 200 series BMW with Bridgestone S001 RFTs and it's 'much much' more comfortable then my Mini so I was confused why his runflats were good but mine were rough and he has 17's too. When I seen this page, I realize now its the tyres and that the S001's are way better. I havent had any issues other then the lack of comfort and skipping across the road on rough corners. Wet roads, I never really noticed anything unsafe as you should be driving to conditions anyway. But Im done with these horrible tyres!

I have a set of these in runflat on a '13 Mini cooper JCW. They stick very well in the dry, you have to be really pushing to get understeer. In the wet they will easily spin up a wheel under full throttle in 2nd, but cornering is very confidence inspiring. My dislike is that these tyres cause the car to wander on the road quite badly, following dips and camber and needing steering correction, this may be because I have the runflat version. They are also quite noisy especially on less perfect surfaces, again may be because of runflat. Will be replacing them with pilot sport 4, but I am happy with the performance/price.

Overall the best tyre I've ever had fitted to a car. Use to have a set of PS4's which are the new version of the PSS but the PSS is far better than at wearing and in wet conditions then the PS4's. Shame that they do not make this tyre again as I now only need 2 tyres (front) and they will have to be PS4's not PSS
