Writing about the Tigar Tigar UHP given 93% (225-40-19-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 9000 average miles
Switched from expensive Yokohama tires to the Tigar brand upon the advice of the tire dealer.
Absolutely amazing tires ,extremely comfortable.
Wet driving is better than my previous tires , with almost 40% cheaper.
Highly recommend

Great performance tyres. For Mercedes-Benz A-Class, replaced factory Hankooks; noisier and less comfortable but excellent dry and wet grip.

Driving on mostly town for 15000 spirited miles
Great tires to begin with. good grip, comfy and wet performance is good. but after sometime, the noise level is very irritating. the car sounds like broken wheel bearing. it can make long journey so stressful. had to turn up the radio volume. other than that. its a very good tire. I used it for about 20,000km and the tread is still a lot. but had to change to other brand because of the noise level. now running Michelin PS4.

Omg! Only 2 month using it, the side walls are full of cracks and bulges. The tire can’t handle even small potholes. There are alot of complaints about side wall damage for this tire. Dry is ok, wet grip is terrible. Tyre keep spinning is low gear. I have no confidence at all on rainy days. Not comfy maybe because its a run flat. Abit noisy. Waste of USD1000 for the set. Had to change to other tires. So unhappy. Please don’t even consider buying this tire. Biggest disappointment ever.

Driving on a combination of roads for 2000 spirited miles
At first i was going for PS4 or the MC6, but with the covid19, budget is quite tight. I went for the TR1 because of the price and love the tread pattern. Seriously, i have not regret it ever since. Dry grip is superb. Wet grip is also nice, no more skidding like my previous pirelli p7. Comfortable and i dont notice any extra noise from the tires as well. No hydroplane. No problem handling my 2.0 turbo hatchback. I would definitely buy these tires again. Good price, superb performance. kudos to Toyo.

First tyre change from the michelin pilot sport 3, and itwas a bargain when i got these tyre. Based on the feel of the drive it seems to have better comfort than the ps3 however the roll resistance feels much heavier.

Haven't test on the highway and wet surfaces.

Writing about the Continental ContiSportContact 5 P given 77% (225-45-17-)
Driving on mostly motorways for 35000 spirited miles
I own a Mercedes A250 Sport, those were the tires that came with it. I used the tires till they were completely worn out, which means they reached 55.000 km, but of course, the performance was completely lost. Since we do not have rain in the summer, I did not need to worry about wet skid risks.
I bought 4 new ones, the same type, and the comfort, grip, and 0-100 improved a lot, so now I have a better idea about the tires. Have to test it yet in turns.
I had a special case that one tire was given to me, but price-wise, if I had to buy 4 pieces, I would like to try the Hankook Ventus S3 (good dry grip, I am in the desert, almost no rain!) or even go to the top Michelin Sports Pilot, which I was not able to find one that fitted my car here in my region.

Fitted to Mercedes A250 Sport. Front tyre wear was excessive despite mainly moderate driving. Quite good in all other areas but due to tyre wear and price, I think better is available elsewhere.
