Mercedes Benz CLK 270 CDI Tyre Review Highlights

Writing about the Michelin Primacy 4 given 86% (225-50-16-)
Driving on mostly motorways for 20000 spirited miles
Just very good grip in every condition, except in snow, where rhey dont work at all. Really linear and good grip, far from a pilot sport 4. Normal fuel consumption and really low noise levels, really confortablw over bumps. All in all the most confortable tyres i have used. They did not work good on dry track, but were very fun in wet track.

Good dry grip , great wet grip . Sidewalls are a bit too soft so the feedback is a bit distorted .They do wear out quicker than other brands , but offer impressive grip so its a good trade off. I would recommend especially if you get a lot of rain where you live .

Bought these in the hopes of positive reviews read on here. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE at all for anyone actually living in snowy climates, these would only make sense for people who get snow a few days a year and are on a budget. The DOTs were new, the rear ones were made in 2019 and front ones 2020. Grip on snow is almost non existant, if there was even the slightest hint of a hill you always had to think whether you have enough speed and momentum to get up the mountain. Grip on dry and wet condtions is okay - nothing to boast about, but will do the job for regular street cars. The front tires still look almost new, while the rear ones are almost non existent - less than 2mm of thread. (This is probably because of spirited driving/snow drifting, but something to consider still) Overall - buy only if you get snow a couple of days in a year and are on a budget!

I bought them just 2 months ago on my Mercedes CLK 270 CDI ( front 225 / 35 R 19 and rear 255 / 30 R 19) and I must say that the dry grip is fantastic and the wet grip isnt to bad either. So dont listen to all people that say these tyres are bad. You dont need drive as Schumacher and for a normal use they are just briliant. Well worth for the price. Iam very satisfied.
