I fitted the tires on a 2010 Mercedes E250 coupe, which is known to be very slippery, but regardless the tires did magic.
I had fitted Yokohamas previously and couldn't drive it when it rained because of the fishtailing and traction control always turning on.
Ever since I fitted these tires, my car and driving experience has drastically changed. I try to push my Tigars to the extreme and honestly they don't deceive especially on wet roads.
Handling and wear is also extremely positive.
I would definitely buy again and would recommend everybody to try this tire.

I have just changed the Kumho tyres after 2 years and 30k the rear didn’t last quite as long as the front, being a rear wheel drive car. Generally an average tyre that doesn’t perform beyond expectations. The front pair, changed today for Firestone’s, had 3.5 mm left but were castellated and we’re becoming noisy. It is only now with the Firestone’s that I notice the difference. The drive now is quieter, smoother and the steering is lighter.
The Kumhos were £90 each fitted, I wouldn’t buy them again as there are better tyres for the same money or a few quid more (Firestones £100 fitted): I suppose getting 30k I shouldn’t knock them but I don’t drive with too much enthusiasm so I can’t really rate wet and dry performance and I would expect that sort of mileage from any tyre.

AVOID if you enjoy life. BUY if you fancy living on the edge every time it rains...

I genuinely can't believe how badly they perform in the wet. I had two of these on my E250 fitted by the dealer prior to collection.

I read the reviews here first and decided to see how they felt before changing them straight away. As soon as it rained, they went!

In the dry they're so, so. Understeer is easy to provoke whilst the grip is nothing to write home about. Maybe okay for old Dorris on the Picasso to visit the shops.

In the wet, I came home a little wet! Rain, fast moving traffic, low light and Lansails are a frightening combination.

The front of the car aqua pained every so often and roundabouts off dual carriage ways were met with a lot of nervous laughter and praying. They are THAT bad.

I don't drive like a loon however I've driven performance cars all my life with Michelin tyres fitted so I can appreciate a decent tyre.

Don't cut corners, even if you don't intend to drive quickly, one day in the wet you might need to avoid something sharpish or perform an emergency stop. It's then you'd wish you had spent that extra £20 per tyre.

I'm very fussy when it comes to tyres and will only ever buy proper premium brands as its the tyre that keeps us on the road. This is my second set of Goodyear Asymmetric 2's. I have to say theirs nothing out there to compare to them. My car was originally on Continental Sportcontact 3's however being rear wheel drive the tyres were forever spinning out at take off. The Goodyears give immediate traction. Wear is good but was better on the Continentals. I don't hang around on the road and drive an all types of surfaces and the Goodyears always feel secure. Would I recommend these Goodyears.... ABSOLUTELY.
