HUGELY DISAPPOINTING...COST 960.00 FOR A SET OF 4.....
GREAT FOR THE FIRST 7000-10,000 KILOMETRES....
HUGELY DISAPPOINTED IN WET WEATHER CONDITIONS...PURCHASED INITIALLY BECAUSE IT CAME ...FIRST ...IN A LARGE TYRE COMPARISON ..I MAINLY BUY TYRES FOR WET CONDITIONS...EVEN CHEAP TYRES OK IN DRY....my wife does most of the driving...
HAD BRIDGESTONE G3 TYRES BEFORE....GRIPPED LIKE NEW !!!!EVEN TO THEIR END OF LIFE AT 50,000 KILOMETRES....SADLY NO LONGER AVAILABLE...!
ON THE PIRELLI P7 TYRES...HAVE GOT 40,000 SO FAR...NO COMPLAINTS ON WEAR...THEY WILL LAST ANOTHER 40,000 KILOMETRES...
BUT WHEN YOU BUY A PREMIUM TYRE...(ON MY MITSBISHI 380 MODEL...AUSTRALIA...)YOU MANLY BUY THEM FOR HANDLING !!!ESPECIALLY IN THE WET !!!!!
THESE PIRELLI P7 TYRES...ARE A HANDFUL IN THE WET....after only 10,000 ks then the grip disappeared...!!!!.JUST A SHADE ABOVE THE BOB JANE TYRES...that I replaced them for !!!VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!!!
I HAVE 2 OF THESE MITSUBISHI 380 MODELS....HAVE JUST PUT MICHELIN ENERGY SAVER PLUS TYRES ON,,,WHAT A DIFFERENCE !!!!!have Pirelli on one...Michelin on the other !!!like chalk and cheese !!!
WILL NOT BUY PIREELI AGAIN AS A PERFORMANCE TYRE !!!!PATHETIC IN THE WET...AFTER 10,000 KILOMETRES... VERY DISAPPOINTED.!!!!!
