Renault Master (2018) Tyre Review Highlights

Writing about the Atlas Green 4S given 10% (225-65-16-)
Driving on track for 15000 easy going miles
Has these tyres in Commercial version at the back of the Luton van for 7/8 months. Then had both blown out within 4 days period. With the first blow out the van was loaded, with the second blow out, the van was empty. Ended up without the wheel to replace as it happened during international trip and used the spare at the first blow out. Luckily the driver and the van are OK, but the tyres should be removed from the market.

Writing about the Apollo Altrust given 69% (205-75-16-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 2000 spirited miles
Grip is great when accelerating on dry or wet, even on wet uphill starts!
But it doesn't do so well when cornering, grip loss happens suddenly and with no warning, and slides are hard to recover from.

Writing about the Michelin Agilis CrossClimate given 97% (225-65-16-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 5000 spirited miles
Tyres feel great and although not tested in cold weather/snow, they appear to have the quality to carry them through any conditions. A little noisy (low drone) compared to the standard Agilis 51, particularly on hard cornering but not enough of a noise for it to be a problem
