Driving on mostly country roads for 15 average miles
These tyre grip really well in the dry and maybe better in the wet (I didn't want to push my luck in the wet, but I could drive as I did in the dry).
However mpg went down at least 10 mpg to my previous tyres.

Driving on a combination of roads for 5000 spirited miles
Excellent tyre. Just cannot find fault. Superb grip in dry, tremendous grip in wet - driving through roadside puddles/flooding inspires confidence as tyres just do not lose grip. Aquaplaning is a thing of the past. Have had the tyres a year (about 8000 miles) and they appear to be as new. Their impact on fuel consumption is negligible and there is no noticeable increase in road noise. Bought four new tyres to replace previously fitted Pirellis that came fitted on the car when new. The Uniroyals are in a league of their own - I'd not want to purchase any other tyre in future.
