Really good tyres for what they are if you want a road tyre these are not for you but if you live out in the country and drive through mud snow and any other bad conditions these tyres are for you perfect for a lot of off roading excellent grip would definitely buy again

I bought these on promotion for about 1/3 less than they go for now.
Pros:
A handsome tire with good grip in all conditions. Unphased by heavy rain on the highway. Particularly amazing grip in deep snow in 4H or 4L. With 8" snow I was comfortably smashing up steep hills, stopping controlled and quickly, and VERY predictably 4 wheel drifting in the snow. Very good at expelling mud or snow from getting packed in the tread. Noise from tire is hardly noticeable compared to other tires in the category. Capable on and off road with an amazing 65,000 mile warranty.

Cons:
MPG noticably decreased; my average mpg fell from ~18.5 to ~17 mpg in the past year. The tires squeal on concrete roads in wet conditions before they have warmed up. Pebbles stay wedged in between the tread and make clicking noises until the noise stops on the highway and some poor sod behind you got a rock chip. Tire feedback feels numb, but that blame can be shared with my 20 yr old suspension on a 4500# Nissan dinosaur. Also, the price skyrocketed after the positive reviews rolled in.

TL;DR These are class leading tires that punch above their, and their manufacturer's weight. Cooper marketing was spot on for the SUV driver that mostly keeps to the highway, but needs uncompromising off-road performance when duty calls. At the current $156/ea USD price online, I'd shop around or wait for a rebate. When first released I got the price down to ~$100/ea USD with a rebate.

Driving on mostly country roads for 55000 spirited miles
Run on a Hilux Surf, currently done about 90000kms and getting to the end of their life now. Just bought a Navara and will be putting a set of Pirelli atr's on that when due which will be soon 25000kms on originals (not impressed)

Not the exact tyre I'm using but close. I have the ThreeA Ecolander 31/10.5/R15 on a Hilux. I have used the car for everything from snow driving to highways to moderate 4wd (low range, slippery conditions, water crossings, steep climbs, running low pressures) in Australia.
I have been very impressed with these tyres. They have lasted about 25-30,000km so far and are showing moderate wear. I estimate at the current rate of wear I should get another 10k plus. At less than half the price of premium 4WD tyres I think that they are fantastic value for very little loss in performance.

I had these tyres on my fully loaded work vehicle. I do a lot of miles on the highway and when I get to the work site I do a lot of driving off road, mostly in mud.

These tyres handled very well in all conditions. Grip is fine in the dry, never had any problems.

Tyres were excellent on wet roads and really seem to disperse water - you can see jets of water being thrown out the side as it drives along. Never had any problems with traction in the wet.

They work very well off road. Driven slowly in mud they manage to grip the surface without breaking it. So forward traction is maintained and the wheels did not bog in or sink. When full of mud they cleaned themselves very quickly.

They are noisy on the highway.

I frequently drive over stakes and nails on work sites but had no problems with punctures.

The thing I liked most was the fantastic life of the tyres. I got over 45,000 miles (70,000km) out of them in some very hard conditions. When I replaced them they still had some good useable tread left.

Yes - I replaced them with another new set of Achilles X-MT. I have had a few brands and these have been the best so far. I even managed to sell my old set for a decent amount of money because they still weren't worn out!

Kenda KLEVER HP KR15 rated 58% while driving a Mitsubishi Shogun SWB 2.8 Tdi
Driving on mostly country roads for 1500 spirited miles
Ease of balancing and very few wheel weights after fitting indicate that Kenda Klever HP KR 15 tyres are well balanced out of the factory.
Tyre walls flex more than standard tyre for my car, so I run my Kendas at 4psi higher than normal for my car (example Mitubishi Shogun normal 26psi front, run these tyres at 30psi).
Dry road grip very good, wet road grip not as good but ok. Stability going through 2 to 4 centimetres of water on one side of road at normal dry road pace is very good, - better than standard tyres.
Not old enough yet to judge wear rate.

Cooper Discoverer ATR rated 86% while driving a Toyota 99 Hilux SR5 4WD
Driving on a combination of roads for 57 average miles
Gday,

I use to have the Bridgestone ATRs which I thought were not that bad until I tried these Cooper ATRs.

On loose off road\tracks there is no tracking of the rear tyres no tyre punchers. If you get these you dont know what tyre pressure you should have when off roading. I always have my tyres at 28psi or maybe 24psi when on loose off road tracks and have NEVER had a problem and I'm upto my second set so thats over 100,000kms and no probs.

When driving on road I have 34psi in the tyres. Drive for 30min and then chk again. Will buy these again and again and will recommend them to anyone.
