Tyre wear was reaaly bad, got 4000 miles before needing replacing! Otherwise good grip and low road noise.

So far so good. Wanted to replace previous lease-company funded Goodyears with something a little cheaper.

The grip feels much better so far - most miles have been done on French motorways and in a ski resort - no issues whatsoever and in my opinion and improvement on what went before.

I used this tyre to replace the low profile Yokohama on my Honda Accord. I just could not believe what happened after that. The car was absolutely transformed.
The grip improved and going around corners became such a joy. I was amazed that a tyre that cost so little could give me such pleasure. I've had to abandon my other car completely. I will definitely buy again.

Given 90% while driving a Lexus GS430 (245/40 R18 W) on a combination of roads for 2,000 spirited miles
Had these tyres on rear for couple of months. I had Pirelli on front and FK452 on rear so when the front tyres needed replacing I had the Falken moved to front and had 2 new ZZ5's put on back, mainly as I was unable to source FK452's at a decent price. When the FK452's need replacing I will fit these ZZ5's all round. They are a really quiet tyre (on my car anyway) and give a solid feel and good ride quality. Can't really comment on tyre wear/life yet. At £138 a corner I am more than happy with them.

Given 87% while driving a Jaguar S type 3.0 (225/55 R16 W) on a combination of roads for 0 average miles
Fitted two fronts them as a replacement for some worn P6000s. What an improvement. Much more accurate steering, loads of grip with no drama, and a much more secure feel. Much quieter on road noise, too.

The Back tyres are next. Not many miles yet but definitely good!

Given 83% while driving a Audi a6 avant 3.0 tdi s line (255/35 R19 W) on a combination of roads for 1,500 spirited miles
bought these to replace bridgestone potenzas because the bridgestones were £250 a corner and i got these for £150.To be honest i was not expecting to much from them but have been pleasantly surprised, less road noise, grip well in the wet and dry also very predictable on the limit.i have add no drop in mpg like the first reviewer and i will have to see what they wear like as i have only covered 1500 miles, all in all i would say the overall performance of these tyres are very close to the bridgestones with a saving of £400 when buying 4.

Given 72% while driving a Audi A4 3.0 litre TDI S Line Quattro (235/40 R18) on mostly country roads for 750 average miles
I needed to replace the original fitment Michelin ps 2s on my Audi, but at nearly £200 each I decided to look for a different tyre. After much deliberation I chose these new Avon ZZ5.
First impressions are they are a lot quieter on the road compared to the worn Michelins which is probably to be expected, I will have to see if the the comfort level drops as they wear. Dry grip is slightly squishy if not slightly vague on initial turn in, but plenty of there after. Wet grip is good and will only under steer if really pushed hard.
The only thing I really did not expect from these tyres was a 3-4 miles DROP in MPG!! Due to the rolling resistance I presume??
Over all at approximately £75 cheaper than the original Michelins they are good value but may end up costing me more over the life of the tyre due to the MPG.
