12k driven. worse than summer tyres in icey condirions.poor in snow.normal weather performance ok for allseason.

Significantly better than the worn cheapo tyres these replaced in the wet. No wheel spin on hard acceleration any more.
Our other car has Michelin cross climates on it, the a005 gives more grip through tight corners before understeer kicks in.
Today was first light snow, braking was good.

I bought those tyres for British winter, but obviously tyres is rubbish at cold weather. It's too dangerous to drive. It's impossible to handle the vehicle on snow. A been driving a cheap budget tyres and even those miles are better then Bridgestone a005.
Breaking distance is unbelievable bad. My wife was scare to sit next to me. I'm not talking about driving.
I wouldn't recommend to buy 100% NO.

Wonderful feeling to drive in rain,dry,ice.

Bought these as I wanted 'All Weather' tyre that had decent dry and wet weather performance. So far mostly driven in wet and dry conditions in colder temperatures. Performance has been very good with plenty of grip especially in the wet.

Wet performance is better than the Goodyear Vector G2 these replaced but the downside is increased noise and a bit of a drone on certain surfaces compared to the G2.

They do work in the snow although not sure how well they'll cope with serious deep snow that we do get in County Durham from time to time. At least there's enough performance for me not to be 'that' BMW driver stuck on a slightly snow covered road. Overall I'm happy with the A005s. Not a cheap tyre by any means, especially in the large size needed for this car.

Amazing tyre!
Very quiet and comfortable. Extremely good dry and wet performance - on par if not better compared to previously driven Uniroyal Rain sport 3 and Bridgestone Dueler sport. Winter peeformance is also a pleasant surprise - fresh deep snow, compacted snow, icy pavements, slush, and everything else that the winter can offer is no issue for that tyre. Tyres seems on par or better in snow and ice when compared to Nokian WR SUV 3.

Still too early to tell as only done 500 miles but, as i use my A6 Allroad BiTdi as a workhorse the A005s do not feel very much different to the previous GY efficient grips on the road but are far superior when pulling 2.5 tons of loaded trailer on wet grass and mud. I am confident that they will easily outperform summer tyres when driving in inclement conditions, the Allroad was right on its limit of grip on 8 inches of snow during the Beast from the East earlier this year. No idea as to longevity but the GYs were worn out at 14000 miles. Also they were available in the correct size last month at £140 each fited and i am not a fan of Michelins in general.

Absolutely fabulous tyres. Well worth the money. Not tested in the snow yet but the wet and dry performance is superb and if they work as advertised in the snow then they it will be a near perfect all year tyre. Only downside is they are slightly noisy on the motorway. Tyres like this should be fitted to the majority of daily driven cars in the UK IMHO.

Bought 4x Bridgestone WeatherControl A005 as they are the only widely available all season tyre in the right size for my 2009 Fiesta. Quite impressed with the grip so far, but have not really tested them in horrendous conditions yet. Regularly drive short distances in town up and down steep hills, so hoping these will be good in snowy conditions.

The car previously had 4 completely different summer tyres (1 on each wheel), so anything is an improvement!

Thoroughly pleased with these tyres. Yes, they are expensive (in this size) and It's too early to tell as far as wear goes and I haven't had a chance to test their capabilities in snow/ice yet but in everything else in comparison with the OEM Continental SportContact 5 SUV Tyres they are so much better.

The car feels smoother although slightly firmer. Steering is more direct. Overall the car feels nicer to drive and passengers have commented the same.

Economy is an area I wasn't expecting anything but the car has gone from struggling to achieve 30mpg, max of 34 of a perfect motorway run to returning 37mpg on a recent mixed journey! Colour me impressed!

I just hope they are half as good in colder weather, I will be taking them on a trip to the French Alps this winter so we shall see.

These are replacing Michelin Primacy 3's. Was tempted to get cross climates but the Bridgestone where considerably cheaper at the time and I thought I'd give them a chance.

So far no worries been driving around like I would on the Michelin's and not noticed any difference in grip or comfort over bumps. The ride seems a little better, more direct steering (the Michelin's felt a little squishy).

Hopefully these will handle better in the cold than the Michelin's I had, I don't think they where great in slush or a dusting of snow.

Not noticed much difference in economy, to early. Will update when more miles have been covered.
