Given 86% while driving a Volkswagen Golf GT TDI 140 (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 3,000 average miles
Ony had these tyres on fro 3000 miles so far but have been very pleased, especially with the improvement in fuel economy (from 48mpg to over 55mpg)

Good grip levels, quiet at speed and very comfortable.

will definately be replacing pirellis on my other car with these..

Given 46% while driving a Peugeot Partner Teepee (2010) (205/65 R15 T) on mostly town for 16,500 average miles
I 've had these tyre's on my Peugeot Partner when bought new, but they're not as good as the brand would asume. They are really terrible on wet roads and only good in warm weather, combined with dry roads.
The ones on the front where worn off after only 20.000 km, but that had a lot to do with a bad camber from factory.
I won't buy these again ever. They're expensive and not worth the money. I will see what brand I'll choose as time coms.

Given 91% while driving a Ford Focus MK1 (195/60 R15 H) on a combination of roads for 23,000 average miles
just replaced the front pair of these tyres on a focus tdci estate, the ones coming off the car were not fully worn out but with a 3000 mile trip to france coming up didn't want to take a chance as i understand the french tread depth limit is higher than ours. anyway these tyres have been great for grip in both the wet and dry and coped pretty well with last winters snow. as regards wear the pair that came off the car had been on for 23000 miles and still had 3mm of tread depth left, i dont drive particularly slowly but tend to be smooth and anticipate the need to slow down to avoid unnecessary accelerarion/braking so feel that some of the comments on here re high wear rates are from people who need to take a close look at their driving styles. highly reccomend these tyres.

Given 87% while driving a Renault Megane Sports Tourer (195/65 R15 V) on mostly motorways for 30,000 spirited miles
I have these tyres fitted as standard on my company car 2010 plate & have been very pleased with them. The grip in both wet & dry conditions is excellent & even in snow, the tyres performed brilliantly.
I am due to replace the fronts very soon & will be doing so with the very same tyres. Looking at various tyre fitting sites, these tyres are also reasonably priced.

Given 67% while driving a Toyota Vios (195/55 R15 V) on a combination of roads for 25,000 spirited miles
Been having them for 40,000kms.

Grips well in both dry and wet conditions. Fantastic in the wet - no problems cutting through standing water at high speeds.

May not be to you liking if you want a quiet tyre - roars on motorways.

Only concern is that the both dry and wet performance seem to tail off as it wears out especially in the wet. Oversteered twice on damp roads at moderate speeds.

Given 66% while driving a Ford Focus C Max (195/65 R15 V) on mostly town for 16,000 average miles
Did around 16000 miles on a set of PC 2's , found it is not a good long wearing tyre. Also not good in snow.

Given 79% while driving a Renault Scenic (195/60 R15 H) on a combination of roads for 8,000 spirited miles
After a very short wear in these tyres proved to be about the best I have tried so far in terms of grip.
In the dry they turn in and respond superbly
In the wet they grip far more that I expect - better then anything previously
used.
My only 2 small concerns are - 1) Wear - I suspect they will wear out quicker than some. 2) Grip in the snow - they are not as good as my past 2 brands (Pirelli P6 and Kumho Solus KH15 - but are still respectable.
I am torn between continuing next time with these as it doesn't snow a lot - or trying something else (possibly Uniroyal Rain Expert).

Given 71% while driving a Toyota Yaris (185/60 R15) on a combination of roads for 10,250 average miles
bought my toyota yaris in august 2009 and these tires were assembled on it. the grip is excellent in dry weather and good in rainy days. did 16500km in a year and a half and they still look good and with no signs of premature wear.

Given 83% while driving a Renault Clio I music Sport (185/55 R15 H) on a combination of roads for 36 average miles
I have a 57 plate clio campus sport and these were standard. I have kept with these and now 36,000 miles later I have only just changed the last 2 of the original 4. My fronts have got another 6k at least (now swapped onto rear). I don't think that's bad wear at all. I know when they get low they are not meant to be too good in the wet but they held up great in the wet and snow last year. My last 2 cost me £64 each and I think thats a good price.
I like the sound of the uniroyal rain expert but these would have cost more. I recommend these.

Given 50% while driving a Volkswagen MkVI Golf GT TDi (195/65 R15 H) on a combination of roads for 2,100 average miles
I changed from Goodyear Excellence (a directional summer all rounder) to these when the Goodyears were unavailable (just on the front). I've been driving 20+ years and fairly keen on my driving. These are on my daily driver. The short version of this review is that these were so bad on my car that I booked the car in to get suspension checked.

The problem was that the planted feeling I had from the Goodyears disappeared. The car felt vague to the point of dangerous. I'm talking about even at legal speeds on motorways where it felt like there were crosswinds (it was also more tramliney). On the twisties I was getting torque steer over any slight bumps (I'm a progressive but smooth IAM type driver) and even with gentle turn-in it felt like the tyre was folding under the wheel slightly - just horrible.

I've never felt such a dramatic effect from changing tyres on a car and have been through most brands (Pirelli, Contisports, Goodyear, Toyo, Michelin, Bridgestone, Falken etc). I can only put it down to the fact that this is a tyre designed for "premium" motor cars and perhaps for comfort before anything else. It may be better with lower profile sidewalls or in a higher speed rating, but I'd have to recommend staying well clear whatever your style of driving if you're choosing for this size. I got to the stage where I was pricing up replacements despite these only having 2100 miles on them.

I have since rotated the tyres on to the back (today) and having taken it for a longish spin over a motorway, town, twisties test route - the car's back to how it was before.

Given 61% while driving a Volkswagen Sharan 1.9TDi (215/55 R16 W) on mostly country roads for 10 easy going miles
Bought Continentals as thuoght at £160 a time would be a good tyre and they have performed well mostly but, having them on the front of my Sharan with front wheel drive and steering has seen them last for a little over 10K miles. I am in no way a heavy footed driver and manage pretty good fuel returns of around 45-48 MPG. I was hopping to find some good recommendations on this site......

Given 71% while driving a Matra Murena 2.2 (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 5,000 spirited miles
These tires were not my first choice, but turned out to be the best performance tires I could get for the original 14" rims on the car. I was very pleased with the comfort and low noise. When I bought them they were only available in "H" rated. I would definitely select the V rated version to get the stiffer side walls next time. Unfortunately they only appear to be available for my larger rear tires. After getting used to the way they handle I find them very good. Just don't make quick steering adjustments while going through turns at brisk speeds.
