Latest Doublestar DH05 Reviews

Given 71% while driving a Kia Motors Forte (205/55 R16) on a combination of roads for 5,000 average miles
Decent enough tire for the price. Set of 4 set me back $270 with taxes. Sure tire life expectancy is 75-80k but for the price it’s better than $150/tire for 100k life expectancy. Handles wet and dry roads just fine. Tread seems really aggressive on turns so adjusting your driving habits on turns might be required. Road noise isn’t terrible. Rating plate says 71db. Sounds accurate. I hardly hear them. My last set of tires were Uniroyal Tigerpaws that cost $160/tire and lasted 90k. If you’re looking for decent tires on a budget then you can’t really go wrong with these.

Given 47% while driving a Dacia Logan (185/65 R15) on mostly motorways for 12,500 average miles
Its grip is good enough but they do not withstand potholes and ocassional curb contact during parking maneuvers. 40000Km are expected out of a full set for this size, but with just 20000Km there are two tyres with faults, one with light bumps in the outer sidewall and other with a loose piece inside the tyre which is heard when the wheel is rolled by hand once dismantled from the car to inspect its state. Provided they were assembled in a professional mechanic, they cannot be recommended despite rubber seems in a decent state after wearing during 20000Km and air pressure is held normally.
