Given 84% while driving a Mitsubishi lancer (195/60 R15 H) on a combination of roads for 15,000 average miles
These are fitted to my Mitsubishi Lancer 1.6 on the front wheels , I drive a 50/50 mix of motorway and B roads generally, with a varied driving style - steady to get to work and pushing on to get back Home! They were a good price £54 each fitted for a quality brand with excellent ratings I had high hopes. Braking , handling and acceleration were the best I had experienced in my current car in the dry , they perform very well in the wet too, real confidence in braking. I would think that they are the best performance style tyres in the size available, I like the look of the tyres , the brand and the noise is comparable to my previous bridgestone turanzas. I had these on the front for around 4000 miles when I swapped them to the rear, they seemed to wear quite quickly on the front which was a shame so I switched them to the rear, they currently have around 15000 on them with 4/5mm remaining. Bridgestone turanza lasted 40000m from new on the rear. So I think the wear is a little high, however if you demand max performance or cover slightly less mileage I would strongly recommend these tyres, as I do higher mileage now my may try something else with fuel saving claims / longer life.

Given 94% while driving a Holden Calais 2003 (225/55 R16) on mostly town for 31 spirited miles
Dec 2010 I got them, have done 50,000km.Stupidly I left them last priority and went past the wire and on to the mesh.I got a flat front yesterday, the 2 men who pulled over to assist me (the woman) were gobsmacked they still got me around this long. The other front tyre is just as cactus but only last week did the hairiest manouver to avoid a stop sign runner.4 days ago did a 230km trip.In all my years these have been the best tyres and longest lasting i've ever used.Learnt my lesson, won't go down to the wire to save $ again.Booked in today to replace all 4 for the same tyre again.

Given 86% while driving a Mazda MX5 (205/50 R16 W) on a combination of roads for 18,000 spirited miles
Had these on my mark 3 mx-5 for eighteen months now and they are down to four mill'. At roughly a thousand miles each month the wear is good considering I drive quite spiritedly. Great in both wet and dry. Good feedback too. Never lost the back end. Only now getting a wee bit 'snakey'. Would definitely buy again.

Given 83% while driving a Volvo (205/55 R16 V) on a combination of roads for 3,000 average miles
In comparison with my previous tyres Bridgestone Turanza ER300, with which I was very satisfied, the Dunop Fastresponse were significantly cheaper to buy, are slightly softer and hence more comfortable, and seem to improve petrol consumption a bit. My favourite feature is the progressivelly rounded-off edges which allow for better curving. On the negative side, the Dunlops don't quite give me the same feeling of safety under all circumstances. Especially when I brake at above 90 km/h the car tends to steer away from the straight trajectory, only to fall back into it when I stop braking! I've never felt that with any other type of tyre. The Dunlops are just slightly noiser than Turanza too.

Given 74% while driving a Suzuki 2010 sx4 AWD cross over (205/60 R17) on mostly country roads for 18,641 spirited miles
I live in the hill country I do 500miles every week from which 90% country driving. Most of the tyres I had all made a squealing noise in the corners.. and there are a lot of corners here in the hills.. These tyres I only heard them ones.. Not sure what that means. But I like it..

However!!! Not sure what I did wrong but the just vanished real quick.. I mean I did only 19K miles. and I have about 3/4mm left Before they become illegal to drive.. I paid $900 including fitting balancing and alignment.. Pretty heavy if I have to get new tyres every 6 months Bummer..
Not sure if I buy them again, would have if I was a billionaire,.... unfortunately thats not the case.

Having said that i do the the occasional off road.. Nothing to serious just lose gravel.. That might have killed them? off?..

Given 86% while driving a BMW 325i (225/45 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 1,000 average miles
My 2007 BMW was running on Runflat Continental Contact 2 SSRs when I bought it and the ride was excessively harsh and the back end 'loose'. Having used Dunlop Winter SP Sport tyres through this last winter I was amazed at how the car was transformed and lost nothing on the snow and ice. I decided to replace the summer tyres with Fast Response run flats and have to say they are equally amazing. In the last week's torrential rain the motorways were awash and there was not the slightest hint of aquaplaning. They warm up quickly and the ride is much smoother and quieter.

Given 94% while driving a BMW 320D (205/55 R16 V) on a combination of roads for 1,000 average miles
Early days on these tyres, but the first 1000 miles have been excellent. They provide excellent dry grip and traction with a comfortable and smooth ride. In the wet, they're exceptional - great stability at speed, minimal aquaplaning, and plenty of grip when cornering. I can't yet comment on wear, and the only very tiny issue has been noise levels fractionally higher than I expected. I would strongly recommend these tyres and look forward to many miles in their company. Black Circles has very good prices on them at the moment too (Apr 2012), so go there and get them for the price of a Kumho / Hankook.

Given 99% while driving a Volkswagen Golf V5 (205/55 R16 W) on a combination of roads for 10,000 average miles
Great tyres, cannot fault them really as they do everything very well. Wet and dry grip is excellent, they are quiet, comfortable and wear well. They are also very good value compared to other premium tyres. Highly recommended.

Given 83% while driving a BMW (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 30,000 spirited miles
I run a BMW 530D Touring and have now has two sets of these Dunlops. The first set cost £545 incl tracking and did 33000 on the rears and the fronts over 35000 which included a front/rear swap around the 20k mark. The second set cost £492 incl tracking and have currently done 28000 rears and 26000 fronts and are still legal. I am hoping to get a few thousand more yet. I cannot recommend them and Protyre of Upper Heyford highly enough.

Given 81% while driving a Toyota T Sport (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 2,520 spirited miles
These feel toit as a tiger and as the name suggest the feel is transformation in comparison to the best mid range tyres (Rainsport 2, FK412's wtc..). If you have a common high profile tyre these could be for you however the only drawback could be wear rate because I presume all this comes at a compromise. To compound the wear issue the thread is not very deep to begin with. For those with expensive sizes then take a look at the Kumho Ecsta.
