I have replaced the 2 front dunlop sp sport 3000 with sp sport fast response and am sorry to say there is no comparison.road noise is much increased and there is a very noticeable roughness to the ride.even my wife comented at the noticable diference and she is a non driver.
I drive a Toyota Avensis diesel estate.

When I had a new set of these tyres fitted, the improvement in handling response was immediately noticeable. I'm a driver who probably takes bends a little too quick, and these tyres can handle it well. I have done around 12k miles since fitting, and the wear is approximately half way (4.5mm on the most worn tyre), so I am expecting to change them at around 25k. Personally, I consider that to be excellent. I am planning on having the same model tyre again.

Very satisfied with tyres. Good on wet and dry. After 20000 miles outside edge is burnt out because of sharp drive thrue corners, midle and inside edge of the tyres are stil good. Planing to buy another set of tyres. From my opinion is best buy.

Very Safe tyres costing only a little more than some budget brands. Well worth the extra , look good on the wheeels too

2.0 2006 mondeo on standard 16 inch wheels

Changed from a mixture of p6000s and p7s and these are so much better. How pirelli can call those premium tyres when they are shocking in the wet. These are great in the wet and the dry. The rears impressed me so much in a week i changed the fronts as well. I have tried michelin and goodyear on my last car and even kumho but these are no my favs. Very good alround wear rates will be interesting but they can be much worse than goodyear eagle f1s and they cost alot less. If you keen driver like myself these are quiet comfortable and giev you loads of confidence come dry of wet road. They are a little softer thanthe p6000/p7 but they are dangerous in the wet due to there very unprogressive nature and safety is more important in my book than tyre wear.

I,ll start with the good things; very quiet tyres, exellent grip on any surface, great control.
The big minus is the wear-fit 4 new tyres 7000 miles ago (tracking done and rechecked after 4000 miles) and they are more than half down.My car is a Peugeot 406 td so not a sporty car, 75% motorway driving so I am verey disapointed.

Recently fitted to my Alfa 156 Veloce and have to say they are superb in confidence through the bends and motorway cruising. I had x2 fitted to the front with a new state of the art 4-wheel alignment for £220.00 all in. I would like to add there is no point buying tyres like this unless you also get a proper alignment done... not laser, but there is a new Bridgestone system in some tyre retailers. Will fit these to the rear when they are due for changeover.

Just replaced Pirellis P6000s with these tyres and WOW...the ride, comfort and grip are all very impressive...so much so my car feels like a better car for it!

Great tyre, switched to these from Pirelli P6000's. Loved the Pirelli's, these Dunlops are every bit as good. Dunlops are a wee bit softer in ride and hve more compliant sidewall. Would definately buy again.

Just gone from Pirelli 6000 to these, and the difference is huge. The x-type seems like a much better car. The big differences are the confidence from the extra grip and the comfort. Superb. I'd recommend them to any x-type owner looking to stop the crashiness over bumps and the vague steering you get with the pirellis. Early days, but a massive improvement.
