Replaced Potenzas with these because of cost. Pleasantly surprised; better dry grip, better wet grip, quieter. All round a better tyre at half the price. Not able to comment on wear yet

The wet and dry grip are as per ratings..too early to judge the wear..it should be the same as nexen 8000..the amount of comfortness is none of my expectation..the only problem with this tyre is that i had to claimed 3 newly bought tyres cuz it was uneven when it was made..the car shaken pretty bad at 100kmh and above..after changing it and heaps amount of balancing work done, the car is okay now although i can still feel the shaking but not as much as before..buy again? Pretty much a subjective decision..i would if the tyres are well made from the factory..

Thought the tyres were going ok..The only reason I changed them was I wanted 245's instead of the 235's..When the tyre came of we noticed the tire had split the sidewall...Very scary, will never buy them again

Heard some good reviews about this tyre from a friend so when I went from 17" alloys to 18", I decided to make the switch from Goodyear Efficientgrips. Dry grip is fantastic and does not make too much noise. In the rain the tyres gave confidence to go that little bit quicker.

Sadly, the tyres were down to their thread indicators after 10,000km. I found out the hard way went the car over-steered when I was making a turn where there were recent roadworks... Switched them out the very next day.

bought this tyres at a fairground with a discounted price,

first i heard a good reviews from my friend who used this tyre on track,i tried it,and i was surprised!!i don't expect that much from this tyre!!

it is so good on the dry surface, the amount of grip is very surprising!
and also it is good on the wet roads

the tyre gives a good feedback and progressiveness, since i am a spirited driver with a pretty aggressive driving style

still could'nt say anything much for the wear,i only used this tyre for about 1000km till now

what's also good..is the comfort..this set of tyres are pretty soft, giving my car a balanced combination since it's equipped with sport suspensions etc,so i don't feel like riding a hearse..also,i hear a really little amount of tyre roar..i can enjoy driving with the music on,or simply pull down the windows listening to the engine & exhaust sound without the nuisance of the "aeroplane take off" tyre roar sound

buy again??sure i'll buy this car until GT radial stopped producing it!!

Given 84% while driving a Vauxhall Astra SXi (215/45 R17 V) on mostly motorways for 4,000 spirited miles
Having driven on Falken ZE912's for 4 sets, I was reluctant to try a new tyre, but I am more than glad that I did.

The wet and dry handing from the HPY's is a noticeable step up from the ZE912's, grip is much stronger in all conditions, I am actually pretty amazed how confident they make the handling vs. the Falkens which I always liked.

I'm told the wear rate is better than the Falkens as well, though I've only put 4000 or so on them so it is hard to tell, but given the excellent handling I would not hesitate to buy these again. The price was good, cheaper than the ZE912's, and mine also came with a lifetime repair warranty - any punctures would be repaired or if the tyre was beyond repair, I would get a percentage discount on the replacement HPY based on the tread depth remaning on mine. This was a Champiro warranty too, not a dealer one.

Given 86% while driving a Audi S4 (255/35 R19 W) on a combination of roads for 2,500 spirited miles
The GT Radial Champiro HPY's were a curiosity, lying unloved at the
tyre dealer, and i took a chance considering i was quoted a fantastic price.

My Audi S4 Avant 3.0T had come with Dunlop SP Sports, and
frankly were shockingly prone to aquaplaning as well as being characterless.

The GT Radial has a much better slow speed ride, bump absorption as well
as great, progressive handling and grip characteristics at 7-8/10ths.

There's a bit more tyre roar and rumble vs the Dunlops, though.
At less than 1/2 the Dunlop's MSRP, i'd recommend these Indonesian
tyres 100% for those looking for a superb sporty tyre. Might be i've found
my default trackday tyre!

PS-Temperatures handled by tyres range from 20-45deg C.

Quite a decent tyre for its price. Good dry grip and handles well in wet. Good aquaplaning resistance. Been using it for about 1600km.

I consider these tires as one of the best budget tires, it handle wet and dry road condition without sweat. had it on for 10,000km. still early to say anything about its wear rate. I can say it is definitely better than Falken range.

I have taken off Bridgestone Potenza RE050a RFT and replaced them with the GT Radial Champiro HPY, first off I will never have run flats on again! The comfort with a standard tyre is so much improved. These tyres are not a budget tyre, they are an economy tyre I find them to be real value for money cheaper than most "performance Tyres" (bridgestone, pirelli etc) and they are good on wet and dry conditions I wanted a good replacemant tyre for my BMW 320d M Sport and I found them!

Given 69% while driving a Subaru Impreza WRX 2.0l Hatchback (215/45 R17) on mostly town for 15 easy going miles
Due to the soft compound of the tyre rubber you get excellent levels of grip in both wet and dry conditions. I drive my WRX like an aged pensioner and was lucky to get 15,000 - 20,000 out of them. If your after something that will offer excellent performance characteristics at an affordable price i would strongly recommend the HPY.
