Original hankook ventus v2 concept is made in korea. i did not get a chance to try them but i read on forums and heard from car owners that they are excellent tires.

however, not to be confused with "ventus v2 concept 2", which are made in indonesia, some say thai. concept 2 tires are being rated as rubbish

Bought two brand new in September of 2021 for the front wheels. The right tire died on me after 5 months, possibly from spending about 10 minutes stuck in snow and ice, trying to reverse up an unpaved driveway. I was shocked at the lack of grip given I was reversing and most of the weight is over the front wheels. There was quite a bit of snow and ice. The next day I discovered the tire was completely flat.

Rubbish. 1 nicked a curb after one month and blew out. 2 worn down to steel belt on the sides before main tread were worn down (yes the car is in alignment). Not reliable and dangerous after 35,000 miles.

If your stuck with limited budget, grip level so and so...this is the tyre for you. Noisy as hell after being used 1 year. My advice if comfort is your choice then avoid choosing this tyre.
