I've bought this tyres back in 2005, for my Yaris; used them for 4 winters, and than sold the car with them and only with them on. Just saw the car several days ago, with the same tyres!
For 9 year old tyres, that have been used also in summer in the past few years, they kept up quite good.
They act normal in dry conditions, at least on the small 950 kilos of the Yaris, they were acceptable in wet, never got me in any trouble, and quite impressive in snow. Combined also with the lightweight of the car, they got me in snow when it was almost up to the windows for other cars in the parking lot, only that the car was entering in snow only about 10 inches. I just felt like I've had a snowplough.
Also 190km/h were achievable on Germany highways without any problems; the car was stable and well balanced. In the same winter euro-ski-trip I could observe the -20 degrees ice cold morning starting. After we heated the car, we had to get off a parking lot that had quite a steep slope; I was sure that we need to push the car, as we were not able to keep our balance on that slope, let alone the car. To my surprise, the car just got up the ramp without any issues, and not even a missed wheel spin.
My car did't have even ABS, let alone modern stability systems, and this tyres got it going for so many miles and years, that I can't even think of other money better in any other tyres, ever.
If I would still find them, I would definitely buy them again.
It simply demonstrated me that it has no reason in looking for more high priced tyres, like Michelin, Continental or Dunlop.
