235/65 17 Tyre Review Highlights

Gripmax GripMax AT rated 91% while driving a Jeep Renegade Trailhawk
Driving on a combination of roads for 2000 miles
I'm on my third experience with this tire and my second set of 235/65r17,this time on my Jeep Renegade 2.0 crd.
My first experience with them was on my Jeep Patriot 2.0 crd and I loved them so much when I got them that I immediately bought a set for my Jeep Commander (265/65r17).
Great on dry and wet, fantastic in snow, almost like a winter tire, and perform8ng great in sand as well.
Best A/T tire I ever used and I can't think of efer switching to another brand as they are very good quality for the money

Bridgestone WeatherPeak rated 65% while driving a Toyota Camry
Driving on a combination of roads for 25000 average miles
Amazing in the snow, not amazing in the dry or wet, pretty average.

Goodyear Assurance All Season rated 43% while driving a Hyundai Santa Fe
Driving on a combination of roads for 24000 average miles
Good tire for dry and wet handling and braking. Terrible braking and handling on ice. Also extreme premature tire wear. The treadwear warranty is for 105000km but they are already worn out to 2mm after 40000km

Nokian WR G4 SUV rated 21% while driving a Jeep Libery
Driving on mostly motorways for 0 average miles
I would not at all recommend these tires, they are terrible on ice, they have no grip at all when on ice sitting at a light you just spin . Any acceleration while driving on the highway with snow and or ice, be prepared to fishtail each and every time. Very uncomcomfortable driving on these tires.

Royal Black Royal AS II rated 85% while driving a Honda CRV
Driving on a combination of roads for 4000 average miles
Bought these at a great price on Online for my CRV AWD 235 65 17 set of 4, first time trying All season Tyres coming from a set of worn Dunlop SP sportmaxx 050 tyres, I think these are very good tyres for the price vs the performance they improved driving in snow a lot ,grip was far better than I could have expected minimum wheel spin got me up some tricky hills in fairly deep snow tyres really stay soft and supple in below zero temps, MPG the same as my Summer tyres. Would buy again only drawback is slightly noisier on dry roads but not unbearably so this could be because they are directional tyres with a v shaped tread over all very happy with the purchase and tyres exceeded my expectations, not sure why the established brands get away with the prices they charge. I wanted to buy Michelin cross climate tyres but the price of nearly £200 per tyre fitted was scandalous, this set of Tyres cost me £300 fitted £360 vs £800 for CC2s

Bridgestone Weather Control A005 EVO rated 56% while driving a Land Rover Freelander 2
Driving on mostly country roads for 18000 average miles
My experience of these tyres is much as the review and others thoughts, generally very capable, however as time has gone on the performance has dropped particularly in the wet and cold to freezing conditions where as previously when much less miles on them I had full confidence driving in those conditions, I’ve reached the point of easing up rather more than I’d prefer, so it seems to me that after a certain amount of wear, the extreme performance of the tyres drops off quite sharply and after 18months and close to 18,000 miles the biggest disappointment with them is that they now need replacement as they have worn down to the point of just under 2mm with the outer edges well below that, I do about 1000 miles a month through the year and my previous Vredesteins managed close to 30,000 miles so I won’t be returning to these Bridgestones in a hurry, I know they have been replaced by another model let’s hope they are longer lasting

Goodyear Assurance WeatherReady 2 rated 91% while driving a Toyota Camry
Driving on a combination of roads for 5000 average miles
Replaced some Michelin CrossClimate 2s and these seem to have even more grip, especially in the wet. Not tried much ice yet and only a little bit of snow but very impressed so far.

Nexen Roadian GTX rated 49% while driving a Kia Motors sorento
Driving on mostly motorways for 25000 average miles
The tires are unimpressive at just about anything. Dry traction and grip are acceptable, noise/comfort is fine. Wet traction and grip are underwhelming, and snow traction is pretty bad.
They are wearing extremely quickly, and are down to about 20% tread after only 25,000 miles. These are supposedly a 70,000 mile tire. These tires are daily driven on the highway as part of my wife's commute. They're not abused, they've been rotated every 5,000 miles. We had the alignment checked to make sure nothing was out of spec because they are wearing so much more quickly than expected. I will definitely not be buying another set of these. There are several other tire options that are better than these Nexens in literally every category.
