Probably the most dangerous tyre i've ever owned.

4 came new on a car bought from a main-dealer (cheap-skates seeing as the car was 20K)

The tyres are o.k in the dry, but you can feel them slipping on corners or pulling out of junctions.

In the wet / ice these are very dangerous, simply no grip from a tyre with 6mm remaining...

Tomorrow i'm going to be ordering a decent performance tyre... you get what you pay for!!

I brought my MG about two months ago but the tyres were very low and needed replacing asap. I wanted to replace all four tyres so asked the garage to recommend a good cheap performance package!!! they recommended auto grip lol?? I'd never heard of this make but trusted the garage as they are in the know??!! For the first few days it was dry and thought the they were great but THEN it RAINED!!!! i was on a roundabout and as i accelerated to turn off the car lost control! it was like driving on BLACK ICE!! I will never buy any cheap tyre again especially auto grip!!! They are MORE than dangerous! listen to wot people are saying on here please....

Bought these on recommendation from a friend. Was a bit worried that they were cheap, but thought I'd give them a go. So far I'm very happy. The wet grip is not the best, but as long as you take normal precautions in the wet they are fine.
I wouldn't consider puting them on a performance car. If your putting budget tyres on a performance car you need to sell it and get something you can afford to run. You get what you pay for.

I'm a sales executive so I do a lot of driving in different cars. My main car however is a 2.2 Peugeot 407 coupe, it's a comfortable cruiser with amazing grip in the corners. However, after needing 4 new tyres, the garage fitted 4 of these autogrip tyres.
BIG MISTAKE, in the dry the grip is sufficient but not optimal however in the wet the grip is non existant! Regardless of how fast I go around a roundabout the tyres loose grip, ESP Is constantly activating trying to correct the skids. They are a hazard & however they passed safety tests is beyond me!

i have had these tyres on my high powerd v8 commodore and found them good in the dry, but they get loose there grip in the wet however not realy any diferent to maxxis mav1 i will buy agane for the rear only. they do suffer from balance problems at 110km.

It is too soon for me to give an opinion on these tyres but I am alarmed to read the reviews from other people, and I will now drive so carefully that I shall never, I hope, find out how easily they lose their grip in the wet. The point I wanted to make, though, was that I went to my tyre dealer in Pinner and asked him for replacement tyres for my BMW, and he recommended these. I said I'd prefer Pirelli or some other good brand and he shrugged and said these were just as good and a lot cheaper. So please don't let it be said that we only buy tyres like these because we are cheapskates and want to sacrifice safety in order to save a few quid. There ought to be a regulatory body to prevent the tyres being sold if they are significantly less safe than average.

As with a lot of other reviews - these were fitted to a used MX5 I purchased, I wouldn't have chosen them. Dry performance isn't too bad but in the wet the car has to be driven very slowly with excessively smooth input on the controls or traction will be lost very easily.

Will replace these with a known make ASAP

If you look at the top of this page, you will see that there is no image for these tyres. The reason is simple, the photo was taken in the wet, and the tyre slid from view as the photo was taken.

Dangerous is not a strong enough word to use for these tyres in the wet. Dont bother with them. Rubbish.

These tyres were fitted on the front of the vehicle when I purchased it and they are, without a doubt, the worst tyres I have ever had on a car. In the dry they are no different to most budget / medium priced tyres but in the wet I would describe them as dangerous.

I drive the same route to work every day and these tyres lose traction and understeer in places I have never had grip issues before. Pulling out of junctions in the wet I have to be very gentle on the accelerator, even in 3rd, or the wheels will spin. They aquaplane earlier in standing water than other budget tyres I have used. They simply lose grip in the wet under any load, be it acceleration, braking or change of direction.

If you are considering these tyres, DO NOT fit them to your vehicle, even if you are selling it on. How they passed the statutory tests is beyond me.

In summary: DANGEROUS. AVOID.

Please don't take offence, but in my view the tyre seller below who is defending these tyres is talking nonsense. Yes, you do get what you pay for but these should not be on sale.

I put a set of these new onto a Peugeot 407 HDI estate and i have to say that these are without a shadow of doubt, the WORST tyres in production today. Our car is a family car which has to transport the 2 kids and the dog so it is never pushed hard but we have found that even at low speeds on traffic islands the tyres are letting go and understeering. I would go so far as to say that these tyres are dangerous so if you love your family, spend a little more and put something better on your rims. The tyres had nearly 4mm of tread left on them when i changed then for Firestone TZ 300's which are a million times better. Seriously, no matter how good the deal seems or how much somebody tries to pursuade you, DO NOT buy these tryes...

I have a low powered...normal front wheel drive car, and these tyres are by far the worst i have ever encountered. They were fitted to the car when i bought it... i am not "tight" as suggested by the "Tyre dealer" below. i drive steadily and calmly especially in the wet. And as the "Tyre dealer" decided he needed to shout, i shall do the same... THESE TYRES ARE NOT SAFE IN THE WET. "Tyre dealer" has obviously got stuck with these and cant get rid of them. They are indefencible and should not be allowed on britsh roads.

Autogrip F107 tires were newly fittted to a WK Statesman I bought which had 100 Klms when I took delivery. This is an ex GMH executive driven vehicle, by the way, so everything about this car is first class - except for the 'ride' as I have come to find out. To this day, I have no idea who manufacturers the Autogrip F107, the absolute worst tire I have ever had on a car and I have had over 40 cars including sports cars. The wear is absolutely uneven, one tire has become so square it destroyed a tie rod end bushing due to its up and down movement under load/rotation. While the overall wear factor is acceptable for mileage, the uneveness of the wear is spectacular as stated previously. The road noise from these tires is completely unacceptable to me and the ride might be acceptable if I was in a truck. Fact is, my Statesman is a long wheel base 4,000 Lbs car which is designed to ride like a limo. But I can assure everyone it does not, moreover it rides like a truck. These tires will be replaced ASAP and again, if I knew who made them I would give them a piece of my mind. They are rubbish tires to put it mildly.
