Given 86% while driving a Volkswagen Golf Mk6 (225/45 R17) on mostly town for 6,000 average miles
Absolutely phenomenal.

- Stands good on Highway with 14 degrees outside and 100mph + average speed
- On the same freeway grips good with average speed up yo 60 mph and 10cm of snow. At -6 degrees.
- Provides good control on ice
- Little cabin noise for a winter tyre
- Saves life and definitely fix costs
- Will buy again? Yes, but maybe UG 8 or UG 9 when its available.

Given 90% while driving a BMW 320D (205/55 R16 V) on mostly country roads for 15 easy going miles
Put these tyres on my 2007 320d Dec 2011 and transformed driving 110% in snow.We live out in the countryside in Essex and roads are never gritted. After the snow of 2010 my heart sank when my BMW let me down with no traction and was parked up in a pub car park for 3 days.Something had to be done as didnt want to sell the car so spent many evenings on the internet reading reviews on top winter tyres.Goodyear Ultragrip 7 are now on my car and are brilliant.Snow, slush, ice and variable road inclines it is faultless, feels a safe as being in a 4X4,brilliant investment and highly recommend.

Given 81% while driving a Volkswagen Touran tdi (195/65 R15 T) on a combination of roads for 3,000 average miles
Once they were run in on my Touran, they were as quiet and more comfortable than 16inch Conti summer tyres. I don't drive hard, but they stay cool on motorway runs even at 13degC. They seemed fine on the limited amount of ice found, but I've not yet tried them on snow

Given 91% while driving a Volkswagen Passat B5 1.9 TDi (205/65 R15 H) on a combination of roads for 6,000 average miles
Excellent tyres for the winter (of course). They seem to perform better in the cold and wet than in the warm and dry.

COLD AND WET: Just excellent - greasy roundabouts have all vanished - no skitting and skating with these. Not even explored their limit - they hang on in any conditions I have encountered.

COLD and DRY: Very good.

WARM and WET: Work very well still.

Warm and Dry: A little noisy during cornering. Come April this is when you know its time to change back to summers.

SNOW: Just incredible !! 50mph easy on fresh snow - I bottled before the tyre showed any sign of wavering. Grip, control. Drive sensibly, and snow need never be a hazardous issue again, at least if no one else is around, but in traffic, you are going to get rear ended if you use their stopping ability to the full, and filthy looks for how fast you are going.

Given 96% while driving a Chevrolet Tacuma (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 4,000 easy going miles
Attention! Thus written-by-first-form-pupil website would delete your long text typed here if you made a mistake in a capthca.
Will not write a lot of words again but: these tyres are excellent on snow and asphalt, very good on ice, excellent braking, but trend to slide on edges of deep rolled track on a snowy road.

They saved my life! There was ice on the corner when I successfully stayed on the road, but the car in front of me wasn't that lucky. They really saved my life, the best tyres on the world, car is absolutely controllable on snow, ice and wet road.

Given 97% while driving a Audi A4 (205/55 R16) on a combination of roads for 2,000 average miles
I fitted 4 of these tyres to my Audi A4 Avant last winter and will be fitting them again in late October this year(They are on a spare set of wheels). They are full winter tyres. I have never had a set of winter tyres on any car before and wasn't sure what to expect. They are quite simply phenominal. I drove the car on compacted snow and ice and it was difficult to get the car to lose control. By standing on the brakes it was possible to get the car to skid, but not for long or very far. Cornering and braking were excellent. You cannot compare these tyres with any summer tyres because summer tyres whatever the make are useless in the snow and ice in comparrison with these tyres. Don't forget that once the ambient temp drops below +7 degs C these tyres come into their own, it doesn't have to be snowing, frosty mornings and black ice can be equaly dangerous. Again, I did my research on this web site before buying these tyres. Read what the German Motoring Organisations say about them, they get a lot more snow than we do and they know what they are talking about. Finally, we have had three winters with snow now in UK in succession, who knows how long this will go on for. My advice is get a spare set of wheels and fit 4 of these winter tyres and swap them for your summer rubber about the end of October to March. You won't regret it and you won't believe the difference it makes to your grip levels in the winter. Very satisfied, in fact more than satisfied with these tyres, I wonder why it took me so long to fit winter tyres for the first time and yes I will buy these tyres again when I need replacement winter tyres.

Driving a BMW 320d with rear wheel drive i would have expected the tyres to loose grip in snow and slush but bthey were really ok. Considering that the price/value is great i would consider buying them again.

Veoma dobra zimska guma.

Given 91% while driving a BMW 120d (205/55 R16 H) on mostly town for 3,000 spirited miles
As a first-time BMW owner in 2009, come January 2010 I discovered a major problem. The inclement snowy weather transformed my fun evoking rear wheel drive 1 Series into a insurance liability. In-fact, potentially worse, a total death trap.

Something had to be done. I first heard of winter tyres in Canada whilst on a skiing hioliday. I was much intrigued watching apparently maniacal Canadian drivers navigating 90 degree corners on snow packed roads at 30+ MPH.

So, out of sheer fear, over the summer, I researched winter tyres as a UK option (whilst also seriously considering flogging the BMW for an Audi A4 Quattro instead).

To test the waters, I purchased 4 part worn German Goodyear Ultra Grip 7's on EBAY, which received good reviews on this website. What a revelation! My 120d SE had been transformed from un-drivable death trap into a vehicle that feels as safe on snow and Ice as a Landrover Discovery.

Even better, with perhaps frankly outstanding road performance, comfort and thrill navigating Britian's potholed roads at speed (than my relegated hard, noisy, RFT Bridgestone potenzas, which are now in the shed) I'm frankly tempted to leave them on all summer.

The UltraGrip 7's are reassuring, responsive, phenomenally safe and quiet and in my view totally essential equipment for a rear wheel drive car,

BTW they also work in harmony with the BMW's previously useless DTC snow setting.

Outstanding grip in slush and snow, much more feeling on ice too. I've driven on these tyres through the recent snowy conditions in Central Scotland for the past few weeks and they have behaved remarkably. Good traction from a standing start and much improved braking performance means I'm a Winter Tyre convert. Even my wife was happy about driving in the snow after getting these installed, what more of an endorsement do you need...?
