Nissan Teana 2.5 Tyre Review Highlights

Writing about the Goodyear Assurance Triplemax 2 given 89% (225-55-16-)
Driving on mostly motorways for 75000 spirited miles
I use these tyres on a 2004 Nissan Teana. I average 1000kms every week at speeds averaging 120km/h 90% motorway driving. The current tyres went on the car in March 2022. They have lasted 120,000kms with a few more 100kms left to the tread wear indicators. Filled with nitrogen. Rotated every 30000kms. Allignments done every 30,000kms. Exceptional tyres I would say. Going for the same brand and type as I am quite sure they will last at least for another 120,000kms. :)

Driving on mostly motorways for 3000 easy going miles
First of all, I apologize about the use of English that I may not be able to use very well. I use Nissan Teana l33 2.5 xv Thailand road surface.(There is only summer and rainy season without snow.) Driving style will mainly use Cruise Control driving, not driving at full speed, it's 130 kilometers per hour. Most use a travel speed of 110 kilometers per hour. Before switching to nexen su 4 tires, I was using Bridgestone t500A tyres, one of which had a leak when driving long distances upcountry. So I changed to 1 presa brand tire with tradewear at 280. After driving Bridgestone for 50,000 kilometers, it appeared that the front left tire started to swell when going to change the oil. So changed to nexen su 4 tires from reviews on this website. Found that this tire is clearly louder than Bridgestone t500a, it is more stiff. sound worse Keep road joints worse but with a relatively cheap price In terms of value, it's okay because nexen Su4 can replace 2 sets of Bridgestone t500 a. Dry and Wet = 8 Road Feedback = 6 Handling = 8 Wear = 7 Comfort = 6 Buy again= 8

Driving on a combination of roads for 600 spirited miles
I used to own a AA Michelin Primacy 4 tyres. which i had decided to give a shot on this AAA grade UHP tyres and the result is delivering what it really meant for. Gripsss!!! Dry handling is awesome whereby you can feel immediately for its braking grip with the road. Wet braking and wet handling is also far better than Primacy 4. What even better is the price of the tyres is far cheaper than the premium Michelin with a far better performance. Can't tell about the wear yet as im just hook on to these babies. Comfort and noise is acceptable for the sake of performance as it absorb the uneven road bump and noise perfectly to my personal rating. I will try for PS4 on my next change to see whether there will be any significant differences between both same grading tyres.

Driving on a combination of roads for 2000 miles
Changed to Fleva from Primacy LC.
Beats the Primacy in everyway.
Handling.
Grip.
Breaking distance.
Lose out in comfort....they are noisier even newly installed versus the 70k km covered LC.
Great choice if you're looking for budget with performance.. but not comfort.

Driving on mostly motorways for 31 spirited miles
Fitted BluEarth-A (not sure if these are the same as Ae-50) to Nissan Teana. Upgraded the size to 225 from the factory 215. This is an excellent wearing tyre. Even wear on all tyres. Done 50,000km so far. Still got about 3-4mm of tread left. Great tyre when new, provides confidence in the wet when pushing it. Wet weather performance definitely tapers off towards the end of the tyre life so cannot push it in the corners as much now. Tyre noise has also increased a little too but can't complain really. Already started pricing around for my next set
