185/65 14 Tyre Review Highlights

Petlas Elegant PT311 rated 38% while driving a Toyota Corolla
Driving on mostly motorways for 0 easy going miles
Ever since I bought these tires, my car vibrates. No matter what I do, I can not get rid of the vibration. I have had them rebalanced, rotated, and rebalanced again. These tires are a good value, but not worth it . I'd rather spend the extra money for a better tires

Dunlop SP Sport LM 705 rated 64% while driving a Toyota Yaris
Driving on a combination of roads for 15000 average miles
These tyres get punctured so easily. The cost that I saved when buying them over Yokohama has been exceeded by frequent trips to puncture shops. I was using Hankook Optimo K415 before these. Hankook was better in all aspects except noise

Dunlop Sport BluResponse rated 75% while driving a Mazda 323 1.6 BJ Touring / Protege
Driving on a combination of roads for 3500 easy going miles
Very quiet and comfortable tyres with reassuring roadholding on wet and dry roads. However, straight line stability at highway speeds is so-so, to put it mildly. Winter is coming and I just changed the Dunlops for wintertyres (Continental WinterContact). This really transformed the car when driving at 100 km/h and above. It now tracks straight ahead. On the Dunlops, I was constantly correcting the steering to keep it on track and in a straight line. I somehow got used to it, but the Contis demonstrate how unstable the Dunlops really are at highway speeds. Next Summer, I'll experiment with a higher tyre pressure than recommended in the car manual. If this won't help, I'll replace these tyres with something better.

GT Radial FE1 City rated 74% while driving a Mitsubishi carisma
Driving on mostly motorways for 3000 average miles
Great summer tire, very responsive on dry and especially warmer weather. Below 10 degrees C the performance starts to heavily decay.
They seem to barely wear, still having as much profile as when I bought them 5.000km ago.
In the wet, they don't give much confidence and you quickly start to lower your speed when it rains a lot just so you can keep control of the direction your car is going in.

Dunlop SP Sport 560 rated 99% while driving a Hyundai Accent MC
Driving on a combination of roads for 62 average miles
2015 Hyundai Accent. No other premium tyre at the reasonable price comes close in all categories. Accent with 91kw on front tyres decimates all other makes.

Nankang Cross Sport SP 9 rated 84% while driving a Peugeot 206 1.4 90hp
Driving on mostly town for 60000 average miles
Braking on dry ground is very good but on wet ground it is a little weak which is normal
It is a very durable tire and wears out very slowly
In terms of comfort, it is as comfortable as Korean tires and the sound does not penetrate into the car

Dunlop SP Sport LM 705 rated 56% while driving a Peugeot 206 1.6 16v NFX
Driving on mostly country roads for 30000 average miles
In dry roads has normal grip and it's ok but in wet and specialy Ice & Snow It has no grip. In wet it's more better than snow but in snow it's really awful! I lose my grip several times in the snow road and I save my car with hard tries for getting stable.
It's comfort, mostly touring tyre and if you want a touring and soft tyre this model of Dunlop keeps you satisfied.

Bridgestone Turanza T005 rated 94% while driving a Nissan almera 1.5
Driving on a combination of roads for 2021 miles
Very good it saved me from a carambola. When my front one came to a sudden stop skidding in heavy rain I braked hard and the tire saved me by stopping without skidding. Excellent, I will put it again for sure

Toyo Celsius rated 81% while driving a Toyota Corolla
Driving on a combination of roads for 37500 average miles
Best all season tires I've had on my car. No noise, no problem whatsoever. Nothing to say bad for normal consumer use. Never lost control on my car in any condition with the Toyo Celsius. Same goes for my family members who has been driving the car since early after their after their 18th birthday. First set lasted 60000 km. Second set on of Toyo Celsius on now. Prior had more expensive and cheap tires on. Toyo made the difference for me . On all 3 my cars I use Toyo all season tires.

Maxxis Mecotra ME3 rated 56% while driving a Nissan Cube
Driving on mostly town for 6000 average miles
Worst on dry and wet road. The tire only last for 5,000 KM, after that it become hard so fast and losing grip. The tire isn't reliable for the emergency brake or avoid the accident. Terrible noise after 60Km/h. Good for uncle driving style.
