Great tyre for the price. Not as supple as some, but feels connected to the road. Brakes suprisingly well in the wet. No abs or traction control in the VS Ute so a good tyre is important. These have given me good confidence so far

Incredibly surprised for being a four-season tyre, which I was always kind of against, but since they were on the car when I got it and were still pretty good (4y/o but plenty of tread, the car wasn't driven much in that period) I decided to keep them and test them. I recently started working in the testing dept. of a big tyre brand in Italy so that was a good chance to acknowledge me more to my job.
I 10 months of ownership I drove 15.000 km in my '99 BMW E39 528i on the Hankook's and the general feedback of the tire-car package is very positive. I already knew the E39, having had another one right before this one, so I knew the level of comfort this car can bring when driven in its favourite habitat: the highway. Well, the Kinergy 4S2 just enhanced this, it's like the cherry on top. I normally drive at 2.3 bar (33 psi - the highest pressure allowed) and my usage is 90% highway, 10% flowy, medium-fast road, so the perfect environment for the car. On the highway, the sound coming from the tire, if not completely absent, can be considered almost nonexistent when mixed with some wind noise and the good deadening equipment of the car (radio turned off). Rolling resistance is also pretty low, allowing me a 12km/l (yes, not crazy low but it's a 1500 kg car with a pretty big engine). Despite riding on the highest pressure allowed, the tire seems to absorb any imperfection of the road in a very gentle way, thanks to it's high, soft sidewall. At 33 psi you can still see a pronounced curvature on the wall. Cornering on mildly fast roads is happily taken by the tyre, giving a very good balanced behaviour, not oversteery, not understeery, just steady. Very fun.
In June I took the car to the Nurburgring and drove 4 laps, let's say as spirited as I could with traction controll off.
I lowered the pressure to 1.6 bar (23 psi). It was maybe a little too low for the weight of the car. Here is where you could really see and feel the softness of the sidewall: it bended lots on the tighter corners, the car was rolling.. but it stayed. Again, no oversteer if not asked, and no understeer at all. You felt the body rolling, but as soon as it reached the maximum, after that fraction of a second, it stayed there and let the tyres do the job, clean and precise in turning the car. Always keep in mind we're talking 4-season tyres, obviously.
I still never got to drive them on snow or ice, and very little in the rain, where I always stay cautious. Only once, it was raining and I was in a tunnel. Towards the end of a pretty long tunnel, to be precise, to both the asphalt and the tyres were pretty dry already. On a medium right hander, one you can easily take in 5th gear with slight braking, the car just lost the back. I wasn't racing, but it was night and I was driving back home in the empty road. that's when you go a little over the speed limit, but not "fast", to give you an idea. If I did't have the controls on, I would've crashed. that was the only time these tires really let me down for a second.
Overall, the feedback is very positive for an all-around tire, I'm happy with it. It's something I wouldn't have personally chosen and I will later switch to 18's and more performance-oriented tyres, but I will keep a good memory of the Hankook's. I use these tyres on a 2004 Nissan Teana. I average 1000kms every week at speeds averaging 120km/h 90% motorway driving. The current tyres went on the car in March 2022. They have lasted 120,000kms with a few more 100kms left to the tread wear indicators. Filled with nitrogen. Rotated every 30000kms. Allignments done every 30,000kms. Exceptional tyres I would say. Going for the same brand and type as I am quite sure they will last at least for another 120,000kms. :)

I drive a FWD Mitsubishi 3000gt. I've only ever driven on a couple tires in my life, but Imo, these tires are amazing in the dry. They are definitely a sporty compound. The understeer on corner exit even when pushed past the limit is very progressive and predictable. They do not squeal when pushed past the limit like eco tires, they grip very hard. However, these tires will start to show their weakness when ambient temps start to drop below 70F. Ride quality starts to drop as they get hard, and they will lose traction. Hydroplaning/rain was never an issue, Great confidence in the rain. But as said before, if it's cold rain especially, they will spin. They are advertised as all seasons but think of them more like summers. During heavy snowstorms with a couple mm of fresh snow on the ground, my car will get squirrely only going 55 on the interstate. This is even with new (less than 5000 mile) tread. The treadwear rating is pretty low, so I'm not surprised that 30,000 miles in, they are about 75% worn to the first wear bar.

Update after almost a year:
it's a winter tyre in the first place. Snow traction, braking, cold wet roads, sludge, the tyre performs fine.
Delayed steering response has indeed been noticeable.
As soon the outside temperature is above 10-15°C then the car becomes unstable above 80km/h. This was a little disappointing but since I have another set of rims with summer tyres I will keep using them in the winter.
They were also fitted on a small Hyundai rental car and I would say that the performance was acceptable in summer conditions.
For a small car they are fine. Heavy and high performance I rather use them in winter only.

When the tyres is new it have a good grip in dry and wet but after 10000km the grip is still good in dry but there is some aquaplanning in wet. The wear rate is acceptable compared with other tyres. When the tyres is new the noise level is to the minimun but as it wear out the noise can be heard from inside the car when going through rough road.

In the dry the Primacy 4's been excellent. Grip feels almost infinite, to the point where I find it hard to use all of it on public roads. In terms of comfort, it's a quiet, pleasant tire to cruise with. At highway speeds up to 180 km/h I can't really find any fault with the tire. It's relatively quiet and absorbs enough of the road to almost feel like driving on a cloud.
In the wet the grip is still above average, much better than my current winter tire (Vredestein Wintrac Pro in the same tire size). Comfort and noise levels are in check, although it's harder to judge noise with all the extra noises introduced by the water on the road.
One thing I sometimes miss is communication during turn in and feedback from the road. I guess this could be party because of the relatively meaty sidewall but to me it was noticeable enough to point it out.
Regardless of that downside, overall a great tire that suits the characteristics of a 5 series well.

My BMW 320d came with run flat tires but the driving was very stiff with a lot of noise and vibrations.
I call BMW ans questioned the type of tires that my car came originally.
It was non run flat 225/55/16R, the company that I bought the car paid for 4 new Bridzestone turanza.
I drove he car in weekly basis from Aberdeen to midlands and then from midlands to the south cost.
I drove any condition and time of the day and I never experienced any problem.
I really filled safe in any condition and also on rain and wet.
During the winter I was using winter tires - Michelin alpine since the BMW is dangerous driving on snow with summer tires.
I had only one flat, actually one small screw from one of my garage projects penetrated into the tire, I removed it after hundreds of miles and plug it.
Best tire ever.
I have tested other Bridgestone types in my old E30, michelin, vredestein and others but the specific tire appears flexible, safe, reliable, longlasting, trustworthy.
I was running the tire at the mid and higher pressures even when it was empty.

500 miles later.... scuffed & broken in. V6 Merc 3 liter diesel E Class. BIG LUMP. Previous Cross Climates 30k. I have given the rubbers max marks for every criteria. Yes they are that dam good ! I am not worried if they last 12 months or 3 years. I will buy them again. It has transformed my remapped Merc to something else ! Scooby Subaru difference. The car sits in the road and steers razor sharp. The braking was tested return trip to the Cotswold in the wet. WOW kid you not THE CONFIDENCE IT GIVES YOU IS IMMENSE. Cross Climates carnt come close sorry ! Heres the kicker i have 16 rims , nothing sporty so if you did have wider wheels OMG you would be like a Cheshire cat. That said , I have 530Nm with a XLR pedal box. So it can shift. I never thought that tyres could alter / transform the ride, comfort , noise so much. Wasnt expecting that and can only comment on my truck. Have owned Scoobys , M3 , Porsche , MR2s, Mercs am an old fart 58. So I have an idea what a positive transformation these CP7s have made to the overall ride , steering razor sharp, grip, comfort, noise. Braking and direction is immense. I have lost about 2MPG rolling resistance tough. I have been bamboozled by the amount of tyres and compounds on offer. However, the expert review here and other research made me DO IT. I am so happy I payed the extra lolly. I feel like i have a two ton Subaru they are that good! Enjoy the trip.
