My Lexus came with these tyres as original equipment. I live in a rainy area, and I can only say that they are terrible in wet conditions—slippery, prone to aquaplaning, etc. I would not recommend them to anyone.

They are the worst winter tires I have ever owned. This coming from a person who has owned Nolan’s for decades. Loose snow is frightening and I need to replace them even though almost new.

Excellent winter tyre. Snow grip superb, ultimate confidence driving a rwd in snow, handled slushy roads with ease and commutes with icy roads were a less worrisome. Excellent in heavy rain but noise level did increase, did lose traction under heavy breaking in the dry but on that one occasion where it did, my fault for carrying too much speed (normal driving probably wouldn’t have caused an issue). Comfort levels were amazing. Ran Dunlop sport maxx rt2’s in the summer but these winter tyres were much more quiet and comfortable. Only used them for two winters before changing cars, but wear was negligible, saying that, I only average approx 5-6 thousand miles a year.

Do not buy these they are unsafe. Bought a complete set of 4 in December 2024 as the weather was only going to get colder and never tried all season tyres before. Transformed my car, for the worse. I've often bought budget tyres, as for me, they're good enough to drive loads with the odd fast bit in good conditions. Never experienced poor wet grip with the choices I've made. However, that has all changed with these tyres. I covered 150 miles before removing them. Really light steering and when you take a bend they track a lot wider than summer tyres. The first dangerous problem I had was on a tight left turn where there was just a bit of morning dew on the road. The car understeered for a split second before snatching grip and that felt like it wanted to flick the back end out. I knew this bend and wanted to compare to my previous tyres. From that moment on I lost all confidence in the tyres. Even on dry sweeping country roads you feel like you're driving at their limit at normal safe speeds (below the national speed limit) forget any fun stuff. Everything is exaggerated in the wet and you wonder if they'll stop in a straight line quickly without locking up. I am shocked it's legal to sell tyres like this as they will contribute to accidents on the road. Anyway, enough waffle, just don't buy these.
Incidentally, they are made by the same group of tyre companies owned by the Zodo Group in China. These tyres also look identical to the Grenlander GreenWing AS tyre, which got a poor review when included in an All Season tyre review on youtube by Tyre Reviews. The reviewer said they were good in snow & on ice but poor in wet handling, braking and even dry handling. Watch the review as the visual reference of different braking distances is shocking and these iLink tyres felt the same as those GreenWing tyres.

I have recenrly fitted a set of Bridgestone Turanza T005 Run Flat on my BMW f30 330i. After 5000km I can say they're a pretty good touring tyre. Quite than the Conti Sport contact 5 RF* I bought the car with. They have slightly better fuel economy too. Quiter than the Contis and they provide much more direct steering feel too. No pretensions as a sporty tyre, and with 185kw and 370nm of torque, I can get them to lose grip when provoked. Hard acceleration from pull away, gets the Traction control activated easily. But I wanted a less sporty tyre this time. Comfort is nicer than "sportiness" as most of my driving is short inner city and long inter city drives of 150 to 400km trips. The Turanza T005 is maybe a bit soft, as I see it's already a bit worn with only 5000km on.

Simply said, amazing tyres. With this car I’ve already made over 180.000 miles mainly on highways and country roads, 60% on summer tyres and 40% on winter tyres. Tried many different tyre brands and models but PS5 are simply the best you can get. My driving style is usually “efficient” which means I don’t necessarily have to fly at illegal speeds on highways but like to enjoy corners at country roads where I don’t want to lose my speed, and that’s where you appreciate good grip and handling. The PS5 are absolutely incredible on the wet, you can easily and safely go on highways at speed limit even in heavy rain and that’s where you notice the difference from other tyres, too. The only discipline where it is not the best is the race track, on a track day they are not as good as PS4, but for public traffic they are perfect.

Amazing performance tires. I had PS4 before and over my favourite mountains i was able to overheat. Potenza Sport on the same roads showed no dip in performance, they take longer to get heat up. In wet/cold and before they heat up they perform worse tho. Amazing tires for performance driving but you are giving up grip in worse conditions.

30k km on the clock, this tyre wears significantly fast, abrasion is obvious even the tread wear rating is A and tread is 340. Very noisy on the road and uncomfortable drive all times. While dry grip is ok, on wet it’s not that impressive and you shouldn’t compare it with any good brand out there.
The tyre looks very dry after 3 years of driving which you can’t find on other tyres.
Not an aggressive driver and mostly in town.
If you are trying to save on cost buying budget tyre like this, you will end up spending more buying new tyres faster than you can imagine, if you care for your safety of course.
