While these tyres are a great performance tyre, they have no place on a car that spends no time on track days. They are performance tyres, but are very harsh and bumpy including hard to balance. They are also VERY noisy.

TL;DR: A safe yet annoying to drive tyre.

Exact tyre label: 225/40R18 92Y XL FP "Made In Germany"
I'll start with the positive: these tyres feel very safe in almost all conditions, even in light winter conditions.
They also feel safe on wet roads, both on lightly damp roads and in deep standing water, with very good aquaplaning resistance.

The dry grip is quite enjoyable in summer conditions, they steer very light and easy, my steering wheel became lighter after mounting these tyres.

Now I have to address my negative experiences with these tyres:
I immediately heard more rolling noise compared to the Michelin PS4 that these tyres replaced, however the bump absorption and road feel is much better compared to PS4, they feel much softer.
On rough roads these Eagles sound like there's a window open, it's more of a heavy whooshing noise instead of a high pitch rolling noise.
Even Continental WinterContact TS850 P were much more comfortable and silent to drive on this car than the Eagle Asy6.

On wet roads and even on cold dry concrete roads the cornering traction is totally lacking, the tyre feels like it's locking up as soon as it looses a little grip and it takes away all your speed causing very jerky grip when trying to corner fast, you can really feel the compound of this tyre is not made for progressiveness during cornering.

Overall I'm extremely disappointed, they don't excel as a Touring tyre neither as a Performance tyre, it's hybrid tyre that only excels at safety only in my opinion.

Michelin Pilot Sport 4 rated 83% while driving a BMW 330i
Driving on a combination of roads for 25000 spirited miles
Replaced my PS4 a few months ago. Had them for 6 years but only around 40k km (25k miles). My car is lowered so the tyres wear on the inside, especially the rears. The tyres still had more than 40% of tread remaining on the outside and middle part, but completely worn on the inside. With stock height, I believe I could've got a lot more mileage out of them. One thing I notice about michelin tyres, be it the PS4, PS4S, PSS, PS3 or primacy 3 and 4, they all show crack on the edges after 6 years, and it spread quickly to the point they start losing air. Bear in mind I live in a tropical climate. It's hot and humid, so it's pretty harsh on rubber.

Dry handling and grip is never an issue with the PS4. Traction control rarely kicked in. I previously had toyo t1 sport, and traction control kicked in a lot more frequently. Handling is balanced enough, but of course don't compare it to the PS4S which is in a different league.

Wet grip is pretty good for a summer tyre. Never had any issue with aquaplaning. Not that I tried driving into a puddle. It can get a little jittery in the corner if you go too fast, but overall pretty good.

Overall great tyres. I would easily recommend it to anyone.

Swapped to these tyres after the original PS4 from the car tore a huge whole from cracking. Knew about these tyres about the same time so decided to go with them as they were also a cheaper option in Malaysia.

Comparing these Phenoms with the PS4, I personally feel that they are very similar to the PS4 in terms of grip. The phenoms seem to be grippier than the PS4 in dry while loses slightly in the wet. They are also as noisy as the PS4 but thats not important.

treadwear is 380 and lasted me about 50,000km with some fun in the wet. Overall very satisfied with these tyres priced at about RM500 per piece. Best bang for buck in my book as of now.

Just got the new Primacy 5s installed. Big upgrade from the stock Nexen N’Fera Sport tyres on my Audi A3! Much more comfortable, quieter and just overall more premium-feeling.

I've found that above 37-38 psi in very cold weather (around 0-4C) the tyres were prone to sudden understeer in wet/greasy conditions (they were set to 39-40 after a service before I lowered them again to 36 for the rest of the winter. The sticker recommendation is 38). Aside from that niche case, at temperatures where really you need winters to be fair, I am extremely happy with these. Amazing grip and very good balanced handling on a mk7.5 GTI, the car is lovely under and at the limit with them. They do wear slightly faster than the Michelin Pilot sport 5 I had before on this FWD car but nothing alarming.

Pirelli P Zero PZ5 rated 100% while driving a Kia Motors Pro ceed

This is probably the first review anywhere as these tires are brand new and just came out on the EU market. I bought the PZ5s completely blind so I wanted to provide some preliminary opinions for others.

In the dry these have loads of grip. Their overall feel is very sporty and firm. There is a nice degree of stiffness that makes turning on winding roads really fun. They feel safe and stable - there is no significant tendency to oversteer or understeer and predictability is good. I like the balance. At the limit, on the border of understeer, these bite-in nicely and tighten the trajectory. On bumps and uneven surfaces the PZ5s feel solid and impeccably comfortable.

I like their overall feel, responsiveness, comfort, sportiness and stability much more than the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires I had previously. The launching traction provided by the Pirellis is also miles better than that of the Michelin set. This is very important in a 204HP FWD car.

I can't say anything about wear or wet performance yet, as we've had a very sunny and dry early spring this year and I haven't covered enough distance on these tires thus far.

To be honest first impression was underwhelming. I can confirm that the steering is quite numb around the center so the steering feeling is kinda exponential. But you get used to it when driving some time.
All in all the tyre behaves. It does not exite but rather does a good job in all conditions. It is a littlebit more slippery then Conti ASC 1 in snow but we rarely see any anyways nowadays. Rest of the summer it's behaving fine, even with tyre temperatures over 45 degrees no sign of smear or fade. The wear is also decent. My original pick were these or the Pirelli SF3s. To be honest I'm glad I've picked those over the pirellis because the wear is important if you drive a tyre 12 months a year. Very positively are two aspects: The tyres are quite Wide for the rim, so the car looks better. Second is the generous rim protector, driving mostly in town it's really good and already saved me some scratches.

All in all I would buy again in the year of 2025. After 13000kms around 6,4 - 6,8 mm tread is left.

Good confidence inspiring grip in the dry. Comfort was also good even for a performance oriented tyre. Wear seemed to be on par with most other tyres i've used previously. Wet grip is very poor, especially on smooth tarmac.

Compared to the OEM Pirelli PZ4 (HN specs), this tyre, overall was... worse. Maybe due to its slightly different size (225 vs 215) but mostly due to its different philosophy and inability to perform well on "glossy", worn, hot Greek asphalt. As a result I experienced serious traction problems, whereas with the OEM tyre they were non - existant.

That's a pitty because the tyre has a very sporty and direct feeling and in terms of dry lateral grip, was on par with the OEM tyre (once warmed)
Unexpectedly, wear was not an issue to this car .
